In this video, we will be looking at the specifications of the Waterworks Brass Spring Check Valves. Spring Check Valves are commonly used in a variety of applications, including plumbing systems, irrigation systems, industrial processes, and water treatment systems. They are particularly useful in situations where backflow prevention is critical, such as holding pressure in a pump system, or protecting pipes and other equipment from damage caused by reverse flow. It is designed to allow fluid to flow in only one direction while preventing backflow. When the fluid flows, pressure pushes against the disc, compressing the spring and allowing the fluid to pass through the valve. However, if there is a reversal of flow, the disc is forced against the seat of the valve by the spring, blocking the passage and preventing the fluid from flowing backward.

• The body of this valve is made from brass.
• It has a stainless steel plate and spring and an NBR rubber washer.
• We supply the Valves in a range of sizes from 15mm-100mm.
• The pressure rating depends on the size of the valve.
o Sizes 15mm-25mm are pressure rated to PN25 or 362PSI
o Sizes 32mm -50mm are pressure rated to PN16 or 232PSI
o Sizes 65mm-100mm are pressure rated to PN10 or 145PSI
• The threads conform to ISO228.
• They have an operating temperature of -20 °C to 100 °C.
