I have so many things to say about this book! but, i kept it brief ✨ sub to my newsletter: kirangill.beehiiv.com/subscribe ✨ insta: / swamikiran ✨ email: kiran@kiran-gill.com -------------------- 🧿🧿🧿
i just finished this and haven’t been able to find any analysis’s yet. Thank you! i’d love a more in depth review because i’m so confused and definitely going to need to reread it at least once (i already have my sticky notes out to make notes). I don’t understand it fully but know i loved it, i can’t explain it i just really enjoyed reading it and already know i must reread it and i never do that (because i have a bookshelf of unread books already)
i also want to reread this book!! i might write a longer review for my newsletter - if i do i'll let you know. i think brat's playful exploration of form really adds to the enjoyment as well as confusion about the book.
It sounds like "Brat" isn't the wurst book you could read this summer. Actually, it reminds me a little of "The Fall of the House of Usher", which also features a disintegrating family home.
@@taramurray1113 Thanks! I'll probably never read "Brat"--so many books, so little time--but I appreciate you letting me know that other people have picked up on the novel's resemblance to Poe's story.
