Beautiful video of our beautiful Capital city Bratislava. I have a little correction for you. That Neologic sinagogue wasn't destroyed during World War 2, but during the communist regime in 1969.

Hola buenas tardes desde Alcorcón Madrid. Estoy suscrito a éste canal desde el principio, en alguno de los vídeos hice un comentario. Me gusta viajar por el mundo y ésta es una manera de hacerlo desde la comodidad del hogar, sin tener que coger el barco o el avión ni pasar por ningún puente. Holaaa!!! Cada semana descubrimos una ciudad nueva con sus toques característicos como la mantita en las sillas de las terrazas, o sus estatuas o el edificio de correos etc. Es bonito conocer paises tan diferentes a los q estamos acostumbrados. You mean "Walking tour" of Pozsony. The town was part of Hungary , and yes , for a while , it was the capital. Every beautiful building was built by Hungarians. It was given to Czechoslovakia in 1818 together with the entire Upper Hungary , and when Czechs and Slovaks decided to split , it became the capital of Slovakia.

Boa tarde, as legendas já estão activadas! Nós somos Hugo e Núria, somos português e espanhola. A nossa cidade de residencia é Barcelona, mas faz 3 anos que não vivemos aí. Nós vivemos em rota todo o tempo durante os ultimos 2anos e meio e somos nomadas.

What a falsification of history!! Archbishop of Slovakia in the 18th century? The Primate's Palace in Pozsony ( today :Bratislava) was built by order and at the expense of Archbishop of Esztergom :József Batthyány , that is, the Primate of Hungary. (Slovakia did not even exist at that time). The palace was the scene of important Hungarian historical events. (When the Czechs occupied the city as a result of the Trianon Dictatum, half of Pozsony's population was Hungarian, half German, Slovaks barely lived there, Czechs not at all.) So, the history of Bratislava's downtown and its old buildings belong to the Hungarian history ! Do not spread the fake history!

Bro are you for real??? Slavs were in Pannonia and todays Slovakia sooner than Magyars. There even was Slavic settlement in Nitra, Balaton and Bratislava area. Yes they werent Empires but you need to go farther than just to year 1000. 😂😂

@@JakubSlovensko Yes, Slavs lived in the Carpathian basin (not Slovaks, as they only became a separate people later, as shown by the lateness of linguistic differentiation), as did Celts and Germanic tribes. But mainly Avars and Bolgars (who were still Turks at the time). But what does Pozsony's (Bratislava's) historic downtown have to do with this? Nothing!!
