This movie actually presents a working solution :-) You need a small inbus, tweezers and a small flat screwdriver. It has a slow pace and it might get boring after a while. You can speed-up 2x.
Just do it exactly like him. It Works. Thanks a lot. At first I thought this way of fixing it is more complicated than it needs to be. But it is probably the only way to do it. You saved me some money. I was about to order a complete new drive-train.
Thank you for this video. I missed shaver on floor and its looks like broken to me. I started to search new shaver and just searched if i can do something with my broken shaver and this video saved my expensive Braun 9 pro. Thanks again
I would have had NO chance to repair my Braun Series 9 without this video. THANK YOU Valentin for taking the time to make it! You have saved my expensive shaver from the trash which would have been a total waste. For others doing this job, turn the video resolution up to 1080P or 2140P and you will be able to see the fine detail. (Bottom right of the RU-vid screen).
Thank you very much my friend! Yesterday suddenly one of the two push buttons which realise the head stuck inside. I tried to clean it and unscrew the 2 screws of the base. But unfortunately I doesn't Knew so complex was inside and then i had all parts clean but I can't reassemble back. I was very sad from mine fully move. But now I have my shaving machine back like before. Very helpfull video! Thank you again.
I was a bit skeptical when I started hearing the background music but decided to keep watching. Well let me just say I have MAD RESPECT dude! You sir just saved me from having to buy another shaver head 🙌🏼. Thanks so much for your video… and patience it takes to figure these things out.
Thanks a lot for this explanation. You just saved mine Series 9 from throwing it away. There is missing end of the video - with squeezing those springs which holds exterior (those shiny chrome plastic parts). But the most tricky part is there. From my experience those springs are not needed at all - exterior is held strong enough when you screw whole head together. But I am not sure what will do over some time with whose vibrations (that's the purpose of those springs, to secure exterior during all those vibrations, I suppose) If you want to put it in anyway, I found this as best procedure: - When you have cassette holding mechanism assembled, screw whole thing together. - Then put the head back to the machine - Then secure the head on the machine with springs from each side. - Insert those release buttons from sides - Unscrew both screws a little - Squeeze two exterior holding springs from one side and insert the plastic exterior on that side - carefully - check if those hooks of the springs is holding that thorn on plastic casing you just inserted. If not, you should be able to adjust it's position (while head is not held together with screws) with tweezers. - When you have one side completed, do the same on the other side. - Doublecheck borh sides if it's OK. Then finally screw whole mechanism back together.
Bardzo dziękuję !!! Przy pomocy tego filmu mogłem złożyć wszystko w całość. I w dodatku działa. Mi zajęło to prawie cały dzień. Super super super. Thank you very much !!! 👍👍👍
huge respect for patience and figuring out the sequence of assembly! tried it few times and left everything in a bag.. will need to make one more attempt!
Can someone try to explain how to put those springs back on? I've spent an hour trying to follow his instructions; however, I cannot see clearly what he's doing due to the wide shot/poor lightning. Thank you.
Hi really appreciate your time in doing this video thanks to my son leaving me with a bunch of bits and springs Only have a question I have a small tiny spring and a long gold looking u type shaped spring I don’t see in your video about we’re there placed I do hope you can tell and explain we’re they go as I’m so stuck thanks Hopefully you can help
Thanks, without this video the machine traveled to the bin. It was a horrible job but I made it too :) The last button issue was only to find a better position for both pins.
Excellent help for others but my Braun issue is different, the ON/OFFswitch came off with a small metal O-ring (It still work if I put my finger in place of the ON/OFF button and press it) don't know how to put it back as I disassemble the unit and found the place but what is the correct orientation of ON?OFF switch? If you can point out that will be great. Thanks a lot
Dear Valentin, The Head Holder Unit on my shaver is continuously slipping out of its position and obviously malfunctioning until I push it again every time back into position. After dismantling and cleaning it, I realized that the very small pin on left holding metal leg was completely worn out, and thus the repeated malfunction. Before I go through the agonizing exercise of reassembling the unit, is the metal leg available as spare part? and can you direct me to a link where I may order it? Thanks for your assistance.
Not all heroes wear capes. I had my fair share of frustration with this design... One of the springs on the side came loose so I probably have to open it up to the point where I can fix it but thankfully the part with the inner springs can stay closed forever. In that part I had to file a tiny slope into a bump that kept me from moving the spring "leg" into its designated place.
Dude! Thank you! It's a little hard to see because of the dim lights but you saved my shaver! I opened mine to clean it, thinking it will only be the two screws, but holy s***! Every part of this shaver is over engineered. How the f*** do they assemble it in a factory?!
Hey! I disassembled, and I can not assemble the same part but on series 8. Maybe you know where there is a diagram on the Internet, I have saved all the details. I would really appreciate your help!
I dropped the shaver and the release button went off. It seems I need to remove the head in order to fix the release button. I can't remove the cover from the head unfortunately. This part is missing at the end of the video.
Hello, your video was very very helpfull, could you please explain how did you fix the buttons at the end? I followed your instructions and could not fix the buttons. Thanks in advance!
Figured this one one out. But first let me stress something to others: DO NOT, NEVER EVER DISASSEMBLE THE HEAD HOLDER UNIT! It's just not worth the hassle if something is broken, the spare part is cheap (35 Euros). If both or one head release button is not properly working, then one or both of the holding hooks on the corresponding side is placed the wrong way around. take a closer look on the hooks. they are not symmetrical, they have a small slope one one side. this slope has to face outward. this is the slope the pin of the button pushes against to make the hook move inward. if you understood the principle you know how to place each hook. i was never able to place the four circular springs. yes, they are not essential to keep the two chrome bars of the outer shell in place, but they are essential to keep the head quiet. at the end of all that nightmare I had a ridiculously loud head and bought the spare part anyway... This guide sadly lacks numerous CRITICAL aspects of the assemble process. it should be redone.
Hello. Please tell me, I completely disassembled the head in order to clean it, but I cannot assemble it. Your head was not completely disassembled in the video. Please help me how to assemble it.
Fortunately I didn't have to disassemble the other section with the white plastic. These mechanisms are insane to fix - I wander what sadistic engineers designed them :)) Good luck on figuring out how to fix the other part.
