I am interested to hear how you ended up incorporating this in along side LOE. We had to drop SL LA, it was never getting done but I agree, Brave Writer has always been so intriguing. I am loving the Growing Brave writers book as well!
So torn between using the brave writer emerging writer bundle or going with tgatb. I’m already doing all about reading which my daughter loves but I want to add in writing/grammar. I wish I could do all three but I don’t want to overload her. Brave writer and tgatb but look really good. Love all your videos- new subscriber!
They are both such good programs - I would say the biggest difference I could see would be if YOU would prefer more of an open and go curriculum (TGTB) or if you like a little more flexibility (BW)!
Did you find the Growing Brave Writers guide beneficial? Can you buy that and use it to go teach writing ? I understand projects are in the other two - so are you able to implement anything with just the Growing Brave Writers guide? And are you using projects from jot it down or partnership writing? I'm leaning towards partnership even though my daughter is 7 because I think the projects will fit her abilities better.
Hi…I’m planning to start Brave writer for my 3rd grader. We’re doing lightning literature that my son loves especially the book selection and reading comprehension. Does Brave writer has reading comprehension question in the curriculum to go with read aloud.
The only thing I had printed was the Growing Brave Writer and it was $38 through their Homeschool Printing Company deal ... everything else I have just printed a bit at a time at home.
