Braves' Offense is STACKED! 

Imagine if the kept Duvall. The Braves letting Duvall walk twice floors me to be honest

@@Gregoman89 Because it’s Duvall, give him a few weeks and he will be hitting .179. He can play anywhere in the outfield which is nice but like most of the Braves LF he is inconsistent at the plate.

If we regret losing Duvall then the conversation about the Braves is entirely different.

@@bailey-cp7ug he’s a life 231 hitter and absolutely top tier defensive player. He would be much better than Ozuna.

@@Gregoman89 I agree with this but he’s still very inconsistent, he had one consistent year with the Braves. I like Duvall and I think he’s a great defender but easy to let walk.

Sounds like they are looking at his offense last year alone. It’s like they don’t remember how inconsistent he was for 5 plus years. Always had hot streaks but man when he was off he was really off

Agreed, I loved Dansby as a Brave but it was more for his in field defense. He was largely inconsistent as a bat

@@claydouglas2526 He played 6 full seasons and had an OPS+ above 100 (league average) for exactly 2 of those seasons (2020 and 2022). So 1/3 of the time he was a plus-hitting shortstop. The remaining 2/3 of the time, he had a .650-.750 OPS and was EXTREMELY streaky. Good player, but a consistently positive offensive player he was not.

@@iveyredding4253 100 is average for all MLB players, not for shortstops. Positional relativity is important.

@@JBerry12 he’s dropped down on top 100 player lists the last few years (even though he won comeback player of the year last yeah) he was considered top 5 or higher before his injury and they don’t know if he will get back to where he was. I think he very much will exceed what he was doing before the injury. 40/40 this year?

I don’t see them trading for Ohtani, they don’t have enough in the minors to give what the Angels are looking to get and they’d be insane to trade multiple players (which is what it would take) that they have at the major league level. They have great contracts on all the good players they have. But if they could sign him this off season that would be amazing. Who knows how much Ohtani will want but the Braves did say they wanted to get into the top 5 spending mlb teams? We can dream at least

ik it's spring training and AAA but Eli White was absolutely destroying it and has continued to do so down in triple A. They honestly can just bring him up and with his defense and the lineup we have if he's just league average this team somehow gets scarier

@@rajeshkumar-mo8tx Agree with this. The strict old school "Braves Way" mentality was hurting more than helping team chemistry with the younger guys. It was obviously bothering Acuna. Freddie wasn't down with Acuna having fun.
