This video does not address the issue of a malfunctioning TV. I used to install TV's for a living, an improper connection is not my issue. My problem is the TV reads NO SIGNAL no matter what input i use HDMI, Component, coaxial, VGA, or USB. This video is useless if you have the same problem i have.
Sony acts as if we're not smart enough to check and recheck our own connections. As if appealing to RU-vid is our first recourse. This video didn't help me at all.
Regarding NO SIGNAL: On my aunt's 37" Bravia (KDL-37M4000, and probably +10 years old), the Sony INPUT button opens the input-menu on the screen -- then the menu *disappears* _in just one second_ . I have to be quick to get the Sony back on HDMI. Is the input-menu supposed to evaporate that fast? My aunt is 95 years old and she's just not quick enough. She lives by herself and I'm her only family nearby, and sometimes I have to drive the 15 miles to get her Sony back in working order. Is there a fix for that?
Hey Y’all! I just found the way to fix it! All you need to do is to go to settings and do the auto program. This will reset everything and will let you play every Cable and hdmi
My Sony bravia hdmi stopped working and the following step resolved the issue: remove all hdmi cables from tv ,power off and unplug the tv. Then press the power button couple of times. Plug back all cables and power on the tv.
Itry watching this video and unsure is it because of cable that i have, since it still says no signal. Now idk whats the problem since i need a converter box?
im stuck sony bravia tv used to work of its digital tuner with no arial at all then one day signal went bought an expensive indoor Arial and still can not get any channels tune properly , any ideas folks?

I have completely the same problem - my brandnew Sony tv cannot read the signal from neither of my two dvd players. It should be quite simple - but with a Sony TV - nothing is simple.....I will absolutely never ever buy a Sony TV again!!!!
Once you've connected your PC to the Google TV, An HDMI External input should be Plugged & found and if so, you can go to Setting -> Video Input -> Configured Devices and you can disable the Built In tuner that is giving you that Pixel/TSSS sound... Try this for those without cable... ((Those with CABLE and still get the Pixel/TSS.. sound, READ YOUR MANUAL & DO NOT disable Built in Tuner!))

My PSTV won't work at all with a Sony Bravia despite being the same branded product yet my old Goodmans could do this no problem. I recall there being a signal in the Sony TVs that block certain devices but it is pretty shocking it'd do this on their own product!
