Haha, oh come on, who didn't see this coming? It's ANet, they'd never commit to a legitimate plot point that didn't have an easy resolution. The only way they actually kill characters is by phasing them out and pretending like they don't exist anymore ie Zojja. You're mental if you thought this was ever going to stick. Have to say though I got a nice, good hard laugh when she was revived in less than five minutes - I was expecting the minimum of having to be two or so instances in before that, but no.
It's pretty bad ya, not because it's bad per say but just because it's so mediocre. Like 90% of the character dialogue is grating and it took them way to long to actually start going anywhere meaningful with the story - once they finally did the writing wasn't phenomenal either, outright terrible in a few spots. I think a lot of people who bought the game on launch still feel betrayed for how much their time was wasted lol. Instances themselves and boss fights are actually getting cooler though, maybe one day you won't even be able to mindlessly steamroll them with good builds too.
What's the point of making such a dramatic Episode 5 ending if it is to just sweep it under the rug right after. Arenanet, shitty writing since 2012. Only good thing that came out of them is Tybalt.
