Thanks very much Mark for this very infomative presentation. I'm already using Honeycomb Alpha Yoke of wich i'm very happy ; it's hooked to the new computer I've built. Its been running FS2020 for a little month : it works delightfully. For the time being I still use a CH products trottle quadrant wich still works well and was easy to setup under MSFS. I've pre-ordered a Bravo Throttle Quadrant and wait for it from Aerosoft.

I pre-ordered as soon as it was announced. Ordered on Amazon, should be here by Dec 13th. For all types of flying, whether GA or the heavies, it is a brilliant solution, and the price is reasonable given the amount of hardware included.

This is a definite, if only for the Trim Wheel. Using KB or "notched" response trim is useless in FSX or FS2020. Plus the Reverse thrust levers on the commercial set. Thank you for your review. Very thorough and fair

I was just too late in the pre order phase, but I ordered the Bravo Throttle in september. Mine will be delivered in the first quarter of next year. A Charlie Rudder is the next product in line. According to the picture I have seen this will also be a quality product. Next on my list!

Thank you for this video. Great and reliable information about the product (at the stage - without drivers). I'm waiting for my Beta. The only thing that let me down was that the Revers works as it was in Saitek, i.e. on the principle of an on / off switch. I was hoping that the Revers mode would be a separate axis that would work smoothly. (as it is in TQ6).

This looks like a really good product. The only concern I have, is not being able to push the toggle switches in the front during flight, when the trottles are fully open. To me it appears as though they would completely block all of the switches. Other then that, I am dying to get my hands on this product. But being $250 might take a while to gather enough money lol, guess I should’ve got into a cheaper hobby 🤷‍♂️ Anyway great review, and I 100% agree with your assessment!

Mark at 12 mins 48seconds, ive seen enough to completely be blown away by the late release of the quadrant as the honeycomb yoke was also brilliant in price too.. I was impressed with that also back in 2019 review... I can see why they didn't release it yet now.. they have added a lot. Honeycomb clearly a forward thinking brand mixing GA with Twin engine and commercial. Looking forward to the drivers review.

From where? Honeycomb preorders started late August of this year. If you don't have an #HC Order number then you're not part of the honeycomb preorders. I'm #HC7xxx which isn't scheduled to ship until late December

The facebook (ecch) post that gave me the info that my #HC order was going to ship in late Dec also included a response from Honeycomb that Aerosoft preorders were accounted for in the early Dec shipping dates. Although i don't understand why Aerosoft preorders were available in 2019 while US preorders started Sep 1 (hence the "jealous' part....)

Hello Mark and all of you that follow this channel great review,I just got my bravo throttle I ordered through sportys pilot shop in Ohio eta was 02/09/2021 but it was early ,and I'm going to have some fun,the nice thing about the throttle is all switches are recognized in fsuicp and spad next I do have the sitek panels and those can't be configured in fsuicp only in spad next i have yet to experiment but i will highly recommend the alpha and bravo flight equipment by far superior then saitek/logitek.im also curious in msfs how the 3rd party avionics is going to be wired as you know in fsx/prepard most 3rd party aircraft don't follow the same code.

I'll be sticking with my sidewinder force feedback stick.Since the recent update and the huge patch which appeared the following day,my controls are too aggressive and I no longer have enough power to fly more than 1/4 of a mile before the inevitable crash.The only thing left to check is mixture in the hope the patch has somehow tinkered with it.I have opened a ticket with Microsoft in the hope they have a simple fix..............................

Thank You for your demonstration it was very good in comparison to some of the other You Tube providers. Can you please advise those of us waiting... The “Thrust Reverser” do the spring-loaded handles activate the “Thrust Reversers” (contacts within the handle mechanism) or is it the “Detent” position that activates the “Thrust Reversers”? And the Spring Loaded mechanism merely act as a mechanical lever with no electrical data being relayed ? Please Advise, as I notice what appears to be brass contacts on the Throttle Quadrant insertion shaft. Enjoy Your You Tube Channel. Respectfully Gary 🇨🇦

I preordered one on September 3rd so I’m in the 49 week of production category. Very nice review, I was hoping to see it flying in a 172 or 182. I’m guessing that without drivers the autopilot functions are inoperable at the moment. Looking forward to the next review when drivers are available. How’s the clearance with the throttle full forward at accessing the AP buttons and switches?

Wondering if they might consider moving their production to a more stable invironment than Hong Kong? From what I have seen on the web their products are a quantum step up from Logitec/Saitek. I just hope they can keep up with the demand, but keep the price resonable like they are now. Bye the way, I have browsed e-bay and the term gouging comes to mind.

Well for me it’s kind of a mixed bag. While it is very customizable for the price, the airliner configuration (especially for dual engine) seems ridiculously small and flimsy. Also the strange angle of the thrust levers is not for me. It’s obviously meant to be placed on the desk, rather than beside you, where a real quadrant would sit. Very good review, as always. So, do the speedbrake lever jump to brake upon landing? And if not, do it prevent the sim aircraft to do it? Also im a bit worried that even the slightest accidential touch on the trim wheel disconnect AP. The display is also cringed behind the levers.

Xplane recognises all the buttons and axis to allow for configuration, but there will be an update for visual reference and preconfigured / default settings .

Have you configured the dials that come on the throttle quadrant on X Plane? If so, which commands did you assigned them to? And were you able to configure/activate the LEDs as well?

Mechanically, it IS state-of-the-art and nearly worth the price. Configuration of the rotary dials should be straightforward especially after watching a subject-matter expert’s tutorial and it originally worked. However, when starting X-Plane 11 the second time the autopilot check resulted in errors-for one a trim wheel that rotated by itself and another- the increase/decrease knob didn’t work. I removed the profile and don’t see me reconfiguring this for awhile. Ten months into X Plane 11, a few general aircraft, some reality nav/comm gear and EVERYTHING has had configuration issues. Not where we should be in the 21sr Century. You purchase something you expect it to work-completely-period. Testing, quality control and documentation from the designer/developer and not going to forums and RU-vid to get something working properly. Time flying is well spent; time troubleshooting is time taken-time that is lost forever! Happy flight swimming.

Great video as always my friend. But reference the Bravo throttle, it looks very plasticky. I had a Saitek throttle for about a few minutes and then returned it because it felt just so very toy like. I operate with a PFC yoke and Warthog throttle, which adds to the immersion a lot because of the alloy construction. I am very interested in this product, but feel I will be disappointed with the build quality and feel of it.. What are your thoughts about my concerns?

Hello, it is made of plastic, with a rubbery feel to it as it has a coating over the mould. Good value for the price, and fairly robust, but not an alloy. Regards

now if that would offer up a beefier Alpha yoke that is less plastic-like and toy-feeling. Something that feels like a Brunner, but costs around the $400-500 Range, maybe call it the A+ (Alpha Plus).

Aye, ordered mine as soon as Amazon had it on site, but it keeps getting put back, hey ho, it’ll arrive at some point. My only problem is mounting it, it’s going on thr right side plate of my game chair, but that plate is smaller than the base. Nice problem to have, I’ sure I’ll sort it.

I noticed in your Vlog you have the Saitek rudder peddles, Is the honeycomb throttle quadrant compatible with them and the Saitek Yoke? My problem is with the Saitek throttle quadrant, I ether have idle or half throttle (nothing in between) and then on up to full throttle, or if I reverse the throw I then get Idle up to half throttle and then half throttle to full throttle with nothing in between. This is a problem I have failed to solve, so I'm seriously thinking of changing from my Saitek gear to the Honeycomb setup.

Still no luck. I got as far as the window to test the Throttle Quadrant, but there was no tab to calibrate only Test, Dead zone and About tabs. All three, Flight Yoke, Throttle Quadrant and Ruder peddles were featured in Devices and printers, but there was no way to calibrate them. I tried all morning and in the end I gave up. Thanks for your help, its much appreciated.

Disappointing but this is true, preorders sold out and some delays shipping means preorders only being distributed in December and January.

cant you just do a normal reverse thrust instead of pushing it to the front again with tighteling the levers to the back? So just like a normal reverse Trust?

ok having some iues with the throttles, 34 do well and no problems but one and two give me a read multiple axes assigned to throttles any ideas on how to over come this isue because it is not letting me do any throttles for all aircraft when using throttles for one and two? help

Wow, Great review and Demonstration thank you for that. I am really glad I saw this Video and am thinking of getting this product. I am just an amateur, have a Windows 10 Home Pro and was using FSX till it just gave up on me, all it does is installs the first part (five squares) and then it says uninstalling, have tried several times to install and done a PC clean but no luck. So now I am thinking of getting another FSX. Would this product Bravo Throttle Quadrant be ok with FSX. I would like your opinion, please. Many thanks. Justin

Hi, yes it is compatible with FSX….but you should consider getting MSFS…it is better all round.
