I’ve been taking a lot of breaks from Magic lately but I’m so glad I picked up my The One Ring when I did. I always feel like I can justify spending a ridiculous amount of money ($10+) on a card if it’s an artifact, *they can go in any deck!*

I honestly hope they introduce more flip commanders that turn into sagas like that praetor cycle, it's such a flavorful mechanic

Canny Acquisit? Yes they can! And they're gonna commit so many crimes while doing it. The acquisition is not legal. Gonti is going to jail for grand larceny and several accounts of felony assault. (Lovely video & deck, thank you Amazonian!)

I think Doc Aurlock is a good addition as a 2-drop, makes all the stuff played from exile 2 mana cheaper on top of Gonti's discount

The desert lands commander is sick when built right. Hands down one of the most fun commanders I’ve built. Just wish we had more sac land effects to use with him (like Zuran Orb).

Well, there are some Hollowhenge cards from Innistrad, and a Hengegate Pathway, but the only other regular henge is the Henge of Ramos. Easy to see which one is great and which one isn't.

You’re telling me that they put the precon commanders on it but they never gave us the faerie or the merfolk precon commanders from a few sets ago!?!? We should riot. Protest for a brawl anthology that brings old precon commanders to arena. I’d love to play some Zaxara on arena.

Gonti is pretty amazing. But he is missing the cards in Arena from the commander set that makes him even more pwerful.

They should add the whole precons, please. Sell em for gold/gems to get them all at once, but still allow them to he craftable, of course

Youre right, we shouldnt have Mana Drain on arena. Nor Reanimate, but those vintage players really wanna do stupid stuff in Timeless, so... we definitely needed them, but we also didn't. Just like Land Tax and Blood Moon!

A question: we had Commander card in Lost Cave of Ixalan and we have now; There were such cards in Murder of Karlov Manor?? Is maybe Voja one of them? Because I can't find him in booster!

I was hoping they would add some of the precon commanders simply because I knew you would have to brew Gonti if they did. I've been waiting to steal this list almost as long as I was waiting for Jasper Flint. What can I say? Bolas introduced me to the world of crime and now I can't stop committing them. *For legal purposes, all crimes I have committed have happened in games of Magic: the Gathering.

to be completely honest, mana drain and reanimate should not be in arena. or atleast banned in brawl. they are crazy strong for a format that doesn't really have too much crazy fast ramp like sol ring or various 0-1 mana rocks. turn 2 ulamog or 7 mana by turn 3 can be just too damn nutty

Just a quick question about gonti, if the stolen spell costs 1 less, wouldn't 1 mana spells cost 0? Or am i just dumb. Cuz the exiled card is any color mana.

22:18 and then there is my Sidisi-Villinous wealth deck thats all ramp, tutors and control stuff to stay alife. My reccord villinous wealth on arena so far was x=64 😂. It was glorius and I still thank the opponent for not conceding.

I would love to see you brew Obeka. I have loved her visual design since her first apperance and this one is only better. I really love the idea of a chronomancer just breaking time with... with her fists, really. It's a really novel idea.

In arena does anyone know how to search for precon commanders like this one? I got down the set lists and there doesn't appear to be an option.

54:52 I do actually find this interesting: All the meld cards need you to *own* both cards because, otherwise, you could end up with a permanent with two owners! Ownership of a card is a physical quality of the card itself, even when it's just representing one part of a whole. The magic rules aren't really sure how to handle an object having more than one owner, so they just try to prevent it from ever happening in the first place. Fun fact: This is also why mutate only lets you target things you own! Or, as it's put in the CR, you have to target a "non-Human creature with the same owner as this spell"
