Ary Barroso wrote "Aquarela do Brasil" in 1939, while a heavy rain storm kept him trapped in his home. Known simply as "Brazil" in the English speaking world, its original title is a reference to a watercolor painting. The South Jackson Street Band performed this version, arranged by Dave Wolpe, at the Bell Bucket Banquet Hall on February 9, 2019.
