"This is a device that I named as "Moto Power H2O", which breaks apart the water molecules transforming it into oxygen and hydrogen. The hydrogen comes out in larger quantities and then I use this hydrogen to run the motorcycle engine."

"The only thing is that we need to inform the public that there is no magic bullet to solve the energy crisis. I mean, what is happening is an electrical vehicle, it is not running on water, it is running on electricity on the battery. But we need to commend the efforts of everyone at home that is concerned and maybe we need to provide help so they can fully develop the vehicle so it can become a solution for someone that is willing to use this sort of device."

"We are here in the Tiete riverside, one of the most polluted rivers of Brazil and of the world. I did the experiment with distilled water, which is the most suitable, but as every researcher, I also did the experiment with the polluted water from Tietê River. And for my surprise, the polluted water from Tietê River worked as much as the ideal water. So, now I use the Tietê River water as fuel in my motorcycle."

LEADIN:
A Brazilian inventor has created a water-powered motorcycle which he claims can travel up to 500 kilometres (300 miles) on just one litre of water.
In order to save money on his daily commute, Ricardo Azevedo adapted his 1993 Honda NX 200 motorcycle to use water rather than gasoline.
