I've tried those cheesy cassava snacks and so good. I find them here in New York! I remember chocolates Garoto as well, that brand was so popular in Ecuador, and long ago I could find them in New York, but now is impossible to find them. Great chocolates 🍫 😋 Greetings from New York 🗽

Considering that the minimum wage in Brazil is 1400 brl, this is all really expensive. Is probably a market for the more wealthy people in brazil.

having just returned from SP ansd beuing a coffee fan I was most surprised while visiting several small to mid-size local grocery shops that although they sold a small range of ground coffee they did not sell COFFEE BEANS. Is this because decent grinding machines are considered a luxury for home use ?

In Brazil, like in mexico there are many types of avocados. In the US and europe the most common strain of avocado is the Haas. In Brazil there are many types, all of them bigger than the Haas, each of them maturing at specific times of the year, so you can have avocados all year round. The biggest I could find was called "manteiga" (butter avocado) and weighted 3+ lbs, for which i paid U$ 1.50 Just blitz half of it with a quart of milk and some honey to taste and you're set for day. I mean it... the stuff is so filling u wont need to eat anything else.

No, that's because most Brazilians just don't want do bother grinding if they can buy it already ground.
@gordonspicer

@@jggouvea What a reply from a simpleton. Considering there are many millions of coffee connoisseurs who happily grind their coffee in a variety of blenders you come here and state the obvious by virtually slandering the population of the words largest coffee producer. But I am grateful for your informing us that the hoy polloi can buy coffee ground all over Brazil. Best current coffee grinder is VARIO when you grow up.
