Brazilians across the country took to the streets on Sunday to celebrate the election of left-wing candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, ending the tenure of right-wing President Jair Bolsonaro after just one term.
This will be Lula da Silva's second time and third term in office, having previously served as Brazil's president from 2003 to 2010.

You’re saying that probably because you aren’t living in Brazil. But I bet you’re still having family living in there! How come you could be happy to have a man who has been condemned to prison for stilling his own country and the people who have trusted him while he was living a very luxurious life style when the people were dying of starvation and the poorly health care system in the hospitals all over the country??? People couldn’t even been assistant to call an emergency ambulance! Not a decent emergency room in the hospitals!!! I’m a eye witness for the lack of support and care for the less privileged ones! I needed a medical emergency one time when I was there visiting my family. I could only received a treatment because I was an American citizen! 🤬🤮💩

Please do more research. He is nothing like Lula. During his first term as president, Brazil became an economic power and part of the BRICS. Unlike sanders, he worked extremely well with a very fragmented political system and lots of parties (not just 2 like the US).
