@@prohexxx627 no it would be fresh water. Salt water doesn’t instantly mix with fresh and somehow go up stream. When fresh water meets salt water because of the two different densities they form a barrier between the two. You can see this in some videos where the water seems to instantly cut to a different blue or there’s a clear line between dirty water and clean water.
At the region where our society was hereditary, there are some young people doing the very similiar thing as the one in this video, which is to dredge the sand on the river embankment straight to the ocean, then they played in the area of the rushing water, but an unfortunate incident happened to them when several Southeast Asian crocodiles of large size, crocodiles known for their gluttonous, punishing nature, pounced while gliding fast with the water current, preying on all the careless young people playing arrogantly on the wave surfboard, were bitten and eaten, It's corpses and the torn bodies of the victims that are eaten and swallowed by the Southeast Asian crocodiles ie very ferocious and thirst for human blood
For those wondering, the dog with the more white head who is seen getting swept away is the one that appears later in the video. Hopefully both dogs were okay, but there's no solid evidence of that here Also, dope surfing and looks super fun. But as others have already said these setups never seem worth the extreme environmental impact
Is it really extreme though? Have a little more faith in Mother Nature to repair herself. And the dog probably liked it more than the humans! It ran back to the same area with enthusiasm. I doubt it was scarred by the experience.
It definitely makes a straight line of rushing water, which is not how Nature would do it at all. I think people need to just give up on saving the planet because there are humans everywhere with no respect for Nature. All they care about is getting attention on youtube. Im gunna go burn some plastic now.
@Kenehi Millar yes and I also know how Nature works. I am not talking on the basic Neanderthal level. I am talking about the intricacies of fluid dynamics as they relate to the natural order of things. In layman's terms, think of it this way. Rivers do not run in straight lines, or suddenly decide to drain into the ocean.
@@johnharrison2511 This happens all over the world. There's a popular spot in California (Newport I think?), and Waimea bay in Oahu does this as well. The lake or river will eventually break through the sand and end up doing exactly what the boys in the video did. The next day, that spot will be totally back to normal like it never happened.
Unfortunately the dog got swept under and was pinned to the bottom by the current and drowned. No one even attempted to save the dog until it was obviously too late.
If you had the lake going into the ocean all it would do is make the lake a few feet more shallow but if that was vise versa, it would ruin all the fish’s habitat That is in the lake
