Big fan of the video, and really helpful to the average joe out there since you’re only using a dumbbell! Not everyone has 15 gloves and a glove mallet like collectors do lol
biggest tip i recommend is to break in your mitt using a thumb guard to get used to the feeling, and so it shapes around closing with the thumb guard on. if you don't use a thumb guard, get one
I’ve been catching a ton of pens and doing mallet/weight work and my 44pro is still very stiff and also having trouble getting the box break in as well as the top of the glove not closing what should I do
Conditioner is good! I like to condition a new glove once, then every 6 months after that. It keeps the leather from getting dry and crusty. HOWEVER for breaking in and getting a glove game ready, conditioner isn’t necessary. What makes a glove stiff is the inner padding. The only way to break down the padding is by using the glove edit: I stay away from oil because oil usually weighs down the glove and makes the leather darker. As a collector, I use oil on tan and brown leathers to get a nice color out of it, but as far as gloves I use in game it’s not something I think about using
