Underrated moment of the lick is the gear switch from 16th notes in 7/8 to triplets in 4/4.

BonerSoup 94 love the super complex! Corps need to start throwing more complexity than just 2s & 3s. Let's get more 3.5s (seven), 5s, 7s, 9s, 10s, even 11s.

Morgan Nowlen I mean it’s not THAT complex. But it takes a lot of mental focus to make a gear switch like that and not rush the shit out of it. These boys are playing some rhythms forsure

I can't comprehend how this is even CONCEIVABLE at the composition level much less getting a battery to conceptualize and execute. That's some mother effin voodoo sorcery black magic stuff happening! Dippy Fresh we’ll get there eventually, at least bass sections get more play than cymbal sections, which are dying, vanguard barely publicizes there’s and they are the last holdout amongst the top groups to continue cymbals.

Is the snare playing flat flams or are the just regular flams? Kind of confusing.

You mean for the swiss triplet part? They are double stops instead of regular flams..

@@cameronherrick6639 So a double stop is a flat flam? Also ,the pickup 4/4 measure at letter E as I interpret(counting 16ths as a 1 e & a) is 1 e a 2 & a e & quarter note rest. I see 4 strokes when there are 8 strokes written in the score. Am I missing something?

@@cpu554 yes flat flams are double stops.. Yes that is the correct interpretation of E. But they are playing 4 strokes. The are doing a double stop (2 notes) with each stroke though.. in not sure what you mean by "8 strokes"
