They may have changed it between EA and global release. The thing with igris as well he recovers his bar. Check with Cerberus who loses the bar and never gets it back
Wow, thanks Payne! Yeah it was from very long time ago. This is very confusing really. Maybe they did a patch or rebalancing patch. I myself am surprised when someone commented about the korean translation (coz I was using Solid Analysis on the Dragon, turns out it might not even be working lol).
@@MousuTV ya we found that the 4 piece set broke the bar for sure by 30% more which is why I did the testing on cerberus and also the bar never comes back to see if break state lasted
@@PayneBlade Hi Payne! I just tested it now on Vulcan (Hard mode) using SJW, I seem to be getting the similar test results on Cutting Rush (Annihilation, Heroic) and 2-pc Solid Analysis set. I also tested the Armor Break (Ice Berg) just now on the 2-pc solid analysis set. It really deals higher shield damage vs without it. Any chance you can confirm if this happens to you too? @@MousuTV yep did the test so it looks like they made the change during global release. It makes sense that it functions this way though as the purpose should have always been to remove the shield as much as possible and as fast as possible. Thanks for doing the tests!
This absolutely confirmed my query regarding the break state. For some reason, it seems that we might as well test things out ourselves rather than unreliable response from the devs. I reached out to them weeks ago asking whether the break state only last when the boss is incapacitated or for the entire fight so long as the bar does not return. However, the only thing they came up with is that they cannot provide more in-depth technical information than what is shown in the game. I was like wtf? There were no clear information about it hence I reached out to them in the first place. Thankfully, there are people like you that goes the extra mile to help us confirm these things. Appreciate it, thanks!
Additional Info: The 2-pc set of Solid Analysis increase the shield break even without the Elemental Weakness! Kindly confirm on your end, everyone! Simply use a with and without 2-pc solid analysis and do a shield damage test. Please let us know if you experienced the same. I think for now, we can use this in stages where we need to break the enemy shield (even without using elemental weakness 4-pc set).
This has been confirmed by very good players in Natto's discord in the last BoT Cerberus. I can confirm that without 2p Solid Analysis i also left Cerb with a tiny break bar left, while with the 2p i can break him instantly
So basically its like the Greed set but you get the effects from the beginning instead of stacking break damage for it. From what I understand. The Greed set only gives the break rate bonus is if there’s an elemental weakness but that causes the set to be almost unless. It’s basically a crit set. You’d still get ten stacks to activate it but instead of a break effect bonus your only getting the crit bonus. Of 15 crit and 30 cri damage. So basically it’s another situational type of armor set and you have to meet 3 qualifications for it to work properly. 1.right element 2. That element has a shield 3. You gotta stack break damage best to use it with Seo, Emma, Nam, and the dark archer guy. Basically without a elemental weakness it’s a knockoff version of the toughness set just with higher main and substats
An interesting discovery that I found recently is that the more increase damage dealt gained from the burning curse set, the more it increases the break effect. While I was running BoT Hobgoblin, I couldn't tell why the boss' break bar differs a little bit after finishing a cycle of the same break skills, hunter and without missing them. I often had 1% left in the break bar and had a couple of moments when I could actually break the boss with the same rotation. Until I realised something was off and tried to see what was causing this weird situation. After awhile, I tried stacking more of the burning curse 2-set buff and found out that I could finally break the boss. Not sure if it increased my hunter's Lim Tae Gyu, Hwang Dongsuk, and Kim Sangshik break effect, my only break skill wind Armor break or all of them. I wonder if there are other sources of increase damage dealt that increases the break effect.
i think the translation on the 2 piece set is correct , the damage dealt increase so you break more bars, test it and see how much damage you deal and how many bars you remove, then do the same with the set , you will notice that there is damage increase which makes you break more bars
I really do think it's a mistranslation though. Because it's the same form of description as the ones from the Cutting rush (Increase damage on break state, which works), Pulverize (also increased damage on break state) but the 2-pc Solid Analysis only increased the shield break damage, but not the damage dealt. And it worked on shielded enemy, not when the shield is broken.
@@MousuTV as you said, all the others that does damage mention break state, while solid analysis only says break damage, which actually meant the break effect only, instead of increasing dmg in break state
@DN2Aria I was referring to the 2-pc set of solid analysis. It's described as "The user's damage dealt to enemies in the [Break] state increases by 15%." The 4-pc set is different (this one's very clear)
Apparently the battle tier numbers are bugged as well, here's whats happened: After seeing the PoD video i switched my set from Set to Emma in between the fights and then i go into the menu and my battle tier has increased?xD Im like okay how did this happen i go in and see: Alicia Seo and Emma as my top 3 hunters! Now my Seo currently has no artifacts equipped but her peak CP is counted towards the battle tier for some reason so EVEN THO i could never achieve that total power for the battle tier the game recognizes it as my current battle tier. This makes no sense whatsoever
Actually it does make sense. Because that only registers the highest CP recorded on your hunters. So yes, if you want to boost your tier, just use your best set with highest CP on MC and your best 3 hunters.
People do this now to artificially increase battle tier lol. Simply by transferring the best gears one by one to hunters with the highest level and advancement. And yeah, I agree that it doesn't make any sense. It should be counted as a "team" Total Power at a single point in time and not individually per hunter/sjw.
Is the break state additional damage from skills like Annihilation just added to the damage? Or is it a multiplier? For example Cutting Rush dmg is 800%, it becomes 950% if the bonus is 150? Or is it a multiplier?
It is a multiplier (not just additional +150%), based on my previous test on break state. Like the damage will really skyrocket. I do have a long video (though still not in english) on this testing similar skill - Vertical Arts Sequent Explosion in Power of Destruction.
@@MousuTV glad I came back to this video to read comments. I like learning new things. Will deff start using other skills with break damage bonuses. I just like running two break skills because I can usually break the bar in rotation instead of waiting for break hunters from cooldown
Fun Fact: Using the recommended element for breaking, use weakness finder and it increases the break damage but by a little😆 (very little to notice but makes a diff on some runs) noticed it when doing cerbe bot run before, when I couldnt 1 cycle breaking his shield using 2 break skills, apparently I removed weakness finder on some runs.
well, I had the time and yes, elemental dmg increases break dmg. other dmg inc doesnt work though. this includes having your support breakers using the sword that inc elemntel dmg 😚
Assumed to be working (Pulverize). Cutting Rush Annihilation and Vertical Arts Sequent explosion are both working. It's also included in the POD description (in-game) that the head is break state.
my opinion is that when the boss can get the shield back (Like Igris) the break damage increase only when he's down But if the boss is only have one shield (Like Spider and Golem) then it will increase damage indefinitely
IKR. Haha! But still acceptable in my opinion, I've experienced worse (or the worst) in other games where a unit was bugged but never got fixed since it was powercreeped anyway. lol
Actually may bug sa fire vertical art Kahit wala sa description mag kakaroon ng burn debuff kahit sino tamaan try mo makikita mo ung burn debuff Matagal ko na ni report sa official discord ng sla at sa report bugs nila sa game pero ignore lang ata ako Nakalagay sa description ng fire vertical art wala burn debuff na mangyayari pero may nakapag sabi sakin na mali lang daw or kulang lang sa description ung fire vertical arts At aoe din gumagana ung burn debuff kahit sa dragon or any boss gumagana basta tumama hahaha Dahil sa video na to sa tingin ko tama ung isa nag comment na mali lang translation ng korea to English duon sa 2pc solid analysis kasi parang hindi rin ata bug ung sa fire vertical arts mali lang din cguro ng English translation kaya dapat ayusin ng devs ung mga nasa description doble o triple check nila kung tama baka kasi ung iba mali or kulang sa description or explanation tas ginagamit pa natin hahaha
