Genre is something I don't think about until I'm at the part when I have to put tags on it when uploading. I do not like how most people use genres and their restrictions and and they are more annoying to me than not. The music I make is based off of how I feel a certain day or what's in my head , or maybe I hear a specific melody or pattern or some kind of chop or rythm and I go in and out of phases with what I hear in my mind. The simply way I see it is "fast drum music" but if truly were to divulge deeply it would be verticore, verakore, beisolcore, and by extension, conduit. Music made by me. the energy that u hear comes from my core, And with this song specifically it is an amalgamation of many different ideas that took 2 months and many many many sessions where I was in different headspaces constantly and you can hear and feel it when listening . I am incapable of understanding how any producer could open their DAW and say, "I'm going to make *insert genre* today" and then they actually make whatever genre they intended to make. My mind is so cluttered and easily bored and constantly changing that even if I did that after 2 hours it would be so far from the original intention, usually completely disconnected from that original intention. I've seen so many people on TikTok call this song hyperpop, glitchcore, or weirdcore, (definitely none of those lol) the genre comparisons that i see as valid are breakcore, breakbeats, jungle, gabber, I guess by extension footwork(?) But again this is usually people telling me what they think the genre is. And if want a genre so u can find more music that isn't exactly like this but will invoke similar feelings from you than I highly recommend you to listen to all the people i am intertwined with if you do not already, such as all the members of Armada Springs a creative collective created many years ago by me and rainsdeaf, the other members being schizoscriptures, 5ubaruu, and catastrophi. And another collective that I am a part of is the Landline collective, which is made up of windowshopping, vaporchrome, DJ KL4PTR4P, Bye2 , purity://filter, nanoray , and s0cky. If u go to the details page on my site it has links to everyone within these groups [ vertigoaway.space ] other collectives that I am very close and intimately connected to are Normcorps, 909 worldwide, and haibane777 (also listen to jeremychknsht, who is lovingly known as "your fav producer's fav producer"). every single music person that is within this massive community are awe inspiring conduits of creativity , and honestly to me genre is nothing but used for tagging and catagorizing, I do not wish to use it as a restriction for myself as that's what it always feels like to me the rare times I sought after a specific genre sound. I let the sounds come to me from the creative energy that spreads out in waves and very often is calm, as it is for me in the moment of typing this. Sorry for long ass fucking message my bad I'mlol , I'm just brain dumping my thoughts on the matter as Its been on my mind alot recently. I am very happy that you connect to my music , thank you so much 💜💙
@@vertigoawaypls thank you for writing this. i’d have loved to watch the production process for this incredible track, i can’t even comprehend how it was possible to capture this emotion through sound.
@@vertigoawaypls dont worry abt the length. I rlly fw your creative process and hell i agree. I think genre as a concept it slowly on its way out with artists like you and for instance lungskull, hell even machine girl (yes as generic as it is) dont really go by a decided genre. It also adds a kind of purity, like a delve into the creators mind instead of some shill who limits themself to a single type of music, i think this is why i connect with this type of music its very raw and chaltic to some but the peace within the music i feel makes it just nice. Idk how to explain it never really explored my reasoning much till now though. Really dies make ya think
@@vertigoawaypls uhh, theres a channel called "vertigoaway - topic", im sure thats an auto-generated channel, but it wouldnt generate if u have a channel, whys that?
I've been connected to this song for a while and it reminds me of a song you would hear in a virus for some reason or an intense race game but a very good one if it was a virus it would be my favorite one
@@leothehuman_9476 Sorta its just the way the song makes me feel I understand how others could feel diffrent when hearing this but I mean the way the rythm felt to me sorry if it wasnt understandable to you
I cannot even begin to express how happy I am that you transitioned to Final Rush with the song transition at 1:47 literally such a perfect matching and blurring of abstract concepts in this visualization. Cant wait to be part of the cloud one day with this absolute gem of creation
Ikr lmao how u think i feel hahaa it's honestly just funny I've seen (and been shown) so many people on TikTok claiming ownership of this track or just trying to take credit for it and I don't know them, shits so funny to observe from my perspective
Eveything about this song makes me want to melt away in a carbonated peach tea while I run away from a gigantic raving ps1 cat. Fantastic job. You deserve so much recognition
God I love your music so much. This is so pleasing to my eyes and I love how loud it is!! it makes my brain go nuts in a good way lol. Keep up the good work!!
Do you still respond after ten months? :0 I love this song to much I listen to it when my parents are fighting or I'm mad because it's to loud lol Oh wow! You do!! :D
you miss are in top 10 artists for my electronic music awakening, i started to listen to electronic music again after a break from it and i promised myself that i would be more open minded to more niche genres and hooo boy did i found one of my favorite genres, it started from listening to house then to deep house then i found out about dnb then breakcore then gabber house then 20XX house... all these genres of music made me appreciate your music even 100 fold and i just wanted to say thank you for your music- without it i think i wouldnt enjoy music like these.
