@@gunnerroy1 Yes mate ive one in the pipeline. Ive started rod building AGAIN and its kind of tookoff so its taking up time plud weve just been getting a new puppy so that a right handfull as you can imagine hahah

As it was ages ago husband can't remember the exact size drill bit he used, not sure if we said in video, the best way is to use the end of your screw and match it up to the right size drill bit, but start off with half the size first to put a pilot hole in then use the same size as your screw to then drill a hole, your screw should fit, hope this helps 😊

If anything try unscrewing the whole screw and spray with gt85 with ptfe onto the thread of the screw and work it in and out, thread could be really tight so it might want working abit, salt air doesn't help I had the same problem but it did work for me so it's worth a try, hope it helps, thankyou for watching 😁💙🎣

Sorted it ...the above didnt work. The black plastic blocks house a thread which the knobs fit into by screwing them in. The knob.s screw HAS to align with a hole in the exterior aluminium tube - mine was out. I used a thin screwdriver to realign the knob screw with the hole in the exterior tube. It seems quite fine tolerance wise. When you tighten the know the end of the flat screw presses against the part of the rest that goes up and down. I reckon it.s probs wise not to fully unscrew the knobs , but rather unscrew just enough to keep the threaded bit in the hole. Anyway, working fine now. Ps i think the drilling of the box using the template has to be spot on. The blocks need to be tight too. Any torsion anywhere and I suspect the knob thread will become easily misaligned. Thnx for all suggestions

The new box has a slightly bigger lid so the old breakaway Seat won't fit properly, but by all means give it ago but once you've drilled the holes you're abit buggered if it don't fit, that's why sb1 and sb2, thankyou for watching 😊

A very good friend of mine in the trade once told me that each and every year they order around 25,000 of these tackle boxes, and every year they all sell. Question is.....Where do they all go hahaha. I've had my box for around 10 or so years and its still going strong, so no point in renewing. So with that in mind they still sell around 25,000....Very strange. Great video guys.

Still Shakespeare just the new design, thicker lid and different catches I believe, if fitting breakaway Seatbox Conversion then make sure you get the sb2 design with new style box, sb1 with old Shakespeare box
