And before the "World of Chaos" fight [final Ansem] he says something like "Giving up already? I thought you were stronger than that, Sora" and then Sora flies up with the Fairy Dust from Neverland.
His Dark Aura is still one of those attacks that if I get hit during it; I generally acknowledge my run as being fuber. It is a very satisfying attack to block and dodge through though.
"I'll show you how powerful I am!" "Darkness!" "You like it?!" "One More!" "I'm Unstoppable!!!!" "Come on, Sora. I thought you were stronger than that."
@@ironstark917 Yozora would crush him. Hes invincible for 99% of the fight without blocks and his attacks are consistent enough that they would just hit Riku after he releases his shield.
1:57 Dark Riku only performs this variation when you hit his Revenge Value. He also points the Soul Eater at you before his dive attack. Every time I’ve fought Dark Riku, 2:55 always happened after 3:56. 6:16 I’ve always seen Dark Riku do this twice in a row. From what I remember, Dark Riku does 4:53 if you get hit by 6:37. I’ll have to check.
@@BioRoxas One extra detail! Dark Riku only ever does his dash attack combo AFTER his Desperation move, once hes done it regardless of if you blocked it (its a guard breaking attack btw) or not he will not do it again until he does his DM another time.
@@BioRoxas you should do that for every enemy and boss in the series just in case we are having trouble with for example kh2dancers or kh3 large bodies and their charge attack it would be helpful because if we are covering the bosses and attacks the might as well cover the enemies
I had a ludicrous amount of Defense, Magic and Attack Ups when I fought the Data Organization, so I never noticed he had so many attacks since I basically just Ultima wailed on him until he died.
My first defeats on Xehanort, Xion and Yozora just had me Ultimate-Spam, honestly. Have 3 "Cure Converter" abilities and hit the enemy just ONCE. Now you have Ult Form; Xion drops one of these Cure Converter items, which helps quite a lot. However, i can nearly clownify Yozora; Currently down to: - Lv99 Beginner - Kingdom Key - All but 2 Pro Codes (No Cure, Magic Slip) Also, I think Blockless Yozora is possible - Parryless, I don't know. But most definitely Blockless.
Aw, I missed you were working on this one! I have a whole doc with his rotations haha. For example, at the start of the fight he'll always use 3 attack patterns, then go into his DM. He can't repeat a pattern he already used, so you'll always see all 3 (line mine, circle mine, shadow + down strike) patterns before the first DM. His patterns were amazingly fun to work out and they're surprisingly consistent - including his openings. Easily my favorite fight haha.
surprised you didn't mention the dark pool attack was directly from the anti black coat nightmare from DDD but otherwise great breakdown! THAT WATER TRICK THO
I beat him a couple times. Every time it was through brute force. Super fun fight that I could never understand what to do other than the two words the Phil once instructed us, "ATTACK!!!!!" Maybe now, ill try learning the fight, but then maybe I'd lose that pure instinct and adrenaline while fighting him.
Same. Honestly, I just like to go Ultimate Form and wail on him, WHILE he has Sturdy Frames. That way it feels like an Anime battle. Love that stuff, honestly.
Dark Riku will also changes his attack pattern based on what he attack he uses with mines in the beginning and if you hit his revenge value. Here’s his stats BTW: HP: 3000 Strength: 112 Defense: 58 Damage multipliers: physical (1.0) fire, water, blizzard, thunder, areo (0.5) neutral/light (0.85) dark (0.2) Reaction endurance : 0 Revenge value: 6.5 Attraction magnification: 0.5x Damage limit: 24
Fun fact I did all the data battles while my parents were present. It was very annoying hear my dad quote Riku when I died as that added to the frustration of getting wrecked.
@@BioRoxas Exactly what it was. Annoying hearing that about every time I died and other things. The one I seem to remember the most is him quoting Xehanort's "Enlighten me!" line
OMG! This one gave me huge nightmares! I was up until 10pm ah night trying to beat him! And young Xehanort was the only other one I had defeated before. I’m never doing limit cut again! Especially since it only has 4 minutes worth of cutscenes! Lol
This is one those moments where an enemy does something outrageous , and uses a move formerly exclusive to the player. The way he blocks and counters almost makes him seem like a player. Things like this, Yozora dodging attacks, and enemies self-healing are so startling when it happens.
Great video. Thank you for the breakdown. It should make it a lot easier to know what's coming. I'm try to do no damage but only can do 4 of the bosses that way so far.
Okay there's Riku Dark form Kh1, Riku-ansum/ Ansum use Keyblade of heart, Riku Replica CoM and Dark Riku Kh3. These are different characters that fight similar.
One thing i thought was odd was how repliku is oddly taller then his kh 1 RoM and recoded versions as he is around the same size has kh3 sora and xion both who are much taller then kh1 sora and kari and sora was about 2 or 3 inches shorter the kh 1 riku
This video is good and all for callbacks and stuff, but its all over the place and its almost impossible to use as a tutorial. this kind of video split in two, one for callbacks and history, another for how to block/evade/counter attack would be amazing. Soraalam made videos like that and this is the closest i can find for kh3. i just want to learn block patterns and openings man.
Hey @Bio-Roxas, I had made a request from a RU-vidr named "Phil up gaming" AKA Philip Hartshorn, that I wanted for the both of you guys to have one or two discussion videos that is related to Kingdom hearts and FF7R, I don't know if you can mark that into your schedule, and if you do that, Thank you, it would be very appreciated if you do.
@@BioRoxas I'm not sure, but from what I have seen a few videos in Phil's channel, I'm don't have a lot of ideas at the time, maybe predictions? (IDK, might need some time to think about later)
I just noticed that the Dark Pool attack is the same attack that Anti Black Coat and it makes sense since Anti Black Coat is the Nightmare versión of Riku since Riku is a Dream Eater.
....i hate this boss fight. Not including Yazora, its the boss fight that took me the longest to beat. I dont get how people can say he is one of the easier fights...
@@vadandrumist1670 He actually has some of the most variation in what he'll do of all the data fights. Other fights that people consider harder like Xemnas and Xion have a lot stricter patterns.
Cause this is a data fight. Also all red attacks are unblockable... except when it comes to Xemnas who already has red attacks so it’s blue in his case.
I still do not understand who this boy is. Is he Repliku from the past? Is he a replica of Repliku given Repliku’s memories, but from the past? And then in San Fransokyo it turns out DARKNESS could be IMPERSONATING HIM AT SOME POINTS?? That’s the smartest move in the world because even us omniscient observers have no goddamned idea who this is
