this was only a year after kard’s début so a solo wouldn’t have been the greatest decision at that point in time. however you’re right about using this duo to promote her and the group

Their voice tones are similar, and even their vocal techniques. Although Somin started focusing on reaching high notes with her head voice, then she dominated the falsetto and learned how to hit very high notes by letting air pass through, to bring us an angelical voice.
Somin is literally angel with devilish side ... she so freaking hot and drop dead gorgeous !!!! Her heavenly yet powerful vocals + enchanting and bewitching visuals + fierce yer delicate dancing she has it all. She looks so good with every guy performing I can’t.
STOP SLEEPING ON KARD, they deserve SO MUCH MORE. give their songs a shot please, i think it's a good idea to watch their lives first, it helps you appreciate the song more because of their stage presence. (personally) but ofc stream their MVs too. They also produce/write some of their songs/lyrics.

Tinuh Sts I'm an Hidden Kard and the fandom is pretty toxic... Somin gets hate all the time. A lot of immature fans like to say that Jiwoo (the other girl in Kard) is better than Somin... I'm surprised no Hidden Kards have come on here yet and said Jiwoo should've done this collab instead of Somin... A lot of the fans are not supportive of Somin unfortunately Pentagon's fandom seems really nice though.

For those who didn't know, Somin is so versatile. She can sing and dance to any genre and it fits perfectly. She debuted a lot earlier than KARD, in DSP's Japan-based girl group called Puretty. Look it up, it's different to Kard's and this performance genre. She's still amazing.
I've probably said this before idk but listen. Hui is one of the most promising versatile young producers out there with outstanding musical ability. All 3 songs he's showcased on this program so far have 3 different genres and 3 different styles, all of which are very well-produced. I can't single out my favorite because all of them are SO GOOD. I wouldn't comment much on his performance. We all know good vocal, good dance, and good stage presence are such killer combination a singer could ever wish to have. I've got mad respect for this dude. Wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours and also PENTAGON's. Edit: I see you, Somin. Welcome to my female bias list.

They have two mini albums out right now, and they've already had a few tours worldwide despite only having debuted in Korea with "hola hola" last summer. Somin is not just great at sexy concepts, but she is an AMAZING vocalist, check her out ;)
