Breakfast & Blue Eyes in Paris with Loan 

I came to notice a certain habit of French women that I'm not sure it's actually a thing, but I absolutely love it: It's how you don't bother with fancy brushes, blenders or make a whole procedure out of applying make up. Just pulling out the tinniest make up bag with carefully chosen essentials, swirling your fingers across the product and dabbing it onto face, or using the brushes that come with the packaging, which most 'beauty gurus' frown upon. And you do it with such nonchalance, nobody would dare to think that's anything but the way it's done.

i just need a clear skin like them then i will be wearing less makeup :(

can't believe how many comments there are saying that the blue looks bad, it's obviously not a familiar look but I think it works really well on her and it does push the color of her eyes nicely. it feels contemporary to me. I think it's really nice to get some fresh inspiration like this, so many makeup "looks" on youtube are just the same old

great video! exactly my makeup routine since i started applying makeup. always only a concealer, lip/cheek stain, brow pencil and a lipstick. occasionally a mascara as well. just the essentials to look fab! :)

Simple and beautiful are like twins, according to my laws of makeup. :) I love that Loan said she never wears powder, I think it ages people's looks and the "dab and blend" approach with concealer around the T-zone instead of full face makeup is like a model's approach to makeup application.

there is so much negativity here i don't like it. first things first: the look she was going for is undone and effortless so for this look the messyness is perfectly fine and suits the make up look on her face but: i feel like the blue wasn't the right tone to do that. It might have worked better with a true mid toned blue like ives klein blue. or a really pale blue. I feel like it would look either more edutorial or softer. This blue seemed a bit too green for her neutral undertone. I think if Violette would wear it herself it would look much better on her olive skin. These are her own products so they should work the best when applied on herself. The reason why her friend removed it might be that she is not used to that. This is of course a statement and as she said her makeup is really simple even for going out. A thinner line of blue that would be blended very well would have made her feel more comfortable (eventually) Anyway Violette tu es très jolie et très aimable! Greetings from Germany xxx
