prodigy is a somewhat feared and obviously respected figure. this dude talks about reaching out and squashing beefs. humble dude. i always loved his voice and they always went hard. def will be missed.
This one hit me, no offence to anyone else but usually celebrity deaths never really touch me too much, but I've always loved Mobb deep! H.N.I.C should be a movie now.. Real hip hop never dies. To infinity and beyond. Fly high P .. RIP

@@fleamarketmixtape3793 they blackballed canibus, a super lyrical and very intellegent individual, they killed pun because he simply was too real and also very lyrical. they pretty much dumbed it down by doing this.

I just finished his first book. Well I listened to it on audiobook and hearing it in his voice really made me understand him and what a legend he was. I'm only 24 but I'm a Hip-hop finnatic and I truly am saddened by his death. I know I'm late to recognize his talent but he's a true GOAT! RIP Prodigy.
Still so sad to know he is gone 😣😥. As a Sickle Cell sufferer myself , it is always difficult seeing any warrior losing their battle. His death is definitely not in vain cuz this will help raise more awareness and understanding about the condition and what we go through. Got some vlogs on my channel showing some of what we go through. Rest In Peace brother 🙏🏽😥

This saddens me.. not just because I'm a huge Mobb Deep fan.. but because Prodigy really had to struggle with his illness since birth and recently spoke of his healthy lifestyle and how he felt better and how it helps with his illness. I respect him for pursuing his dream regardless of the hand he was dealt.. RIP Prodigy.

Prodigy is a real hero of mine. Honestly if anyone knows of this guy just for shook ones n one or two other songs. Please go listen to the whole of the infamous and he'll on earth! Two classic albums and really show prodigys skill
Respect... A little info on sickle cell anemia, it is most common in people of African descent but also common in other people that are descendants of people that live on the equator belt (arabs, naitives of South America etc...) this is because of malaria. These kind of climates are ideal conditions for mosquitos that carry disease. Sickle cell anemia although very painful actually worked as protection from malaria. The sickle shape of the red blood cells made it difficult for the disease to spread through the blood. As time went on and populations grew the population of people with sickle cell grew more as it was often those who survived that would have babies and the genetic trait is passed down from generation to generation. This is why we see a higher prevalence of sickle cell in people of African descent.
Just read up what sickle cell was and it involves the deformity of the red blood cells and its something to do wit the hemoglobin as there are different types of it. The life expectancy for people with this disease WAS 14yrs in the 70's nowadays its between 40-60 yrs which sadly Prodigy passed at age 42. But we are glad that he stuck around for as long as he could. RIP Prodigy, Infamous Mobb 4eva
