You are lucky you got Makhan malai in this season, my brother was super excited about his trip to lucknow because of makhan malai but he couldn't find it .That was just two weeks back. Lucknow metro and bew malls are awesome too , Yogi ji has done tremendous work on city.
Though I voted for BJP but initially when Yogi Ji was made the CM I was not happy because I thought that he will over emphasse on religion and all that and not focus too much on development but he has done such a phenomeal revival of the state wheather its crime or roads or airports or the temples. He made a cultural as vell as infrastructual revical of the state Hats off
That part of Old Lucknow was acctually the epicenter of Lucknow it was a historical posh area the residential parts of the old city are not quite good but the part where you vidited is actually very very beautifull. I live in the new lucknow it is mordern but the beauty of that city esspecially after such good maintainance is amazing
