This govt is a disgrace. If they need the money so badly, why not take the dole away from the kids who can go out and get a job but won't, rather than from the pensioners who would go out and get a job but can't? I wish the entire lot of politicians in the House would vote against this wicked move. Starmer would look pretty stupid alone there on the bench.
The female Spanish runner should be reinstated with her bronze medal. She wasn’t cheating. The poor guide got cramp seconds away from the finishing line and let go for a split second a situation she had no control over. In this case the rules need to be carefully scrutinised and over turned as in this case. It’s unfair and wrong to disqualify her.
