As someone with DID/multiple people in my head who know me inside and out, it's not as easy as you think. It's like sharing a room with your siblings that you can't leave. It's great when everyone is getting along! But if you get in a fight, it's awful. Splitting headaches for starters, and it's not like you can ever get space from them. And let's say you guys have completely different interests? You only have a limited amount of time and one body, how do you divide up the time? How do you decide things like a major or a career? What if one wants a pet and one doesn't? I won't say I don't love my headmates dearly, but much like everything, the reality of it is complicated
