The good clean fun that hip hop use to be is sorely missed. Instead of playing video games we danced with our friends and had a good time outside. There were smiles on everyone's faces enjoying the great era we were living in. I miss those days.
@@ramoduff9399 I'm a female and I know you see that, but if taco 🌮 is dead who is in the orange hat, unless this video is old because turbo has gained weight but in this video he looks slim.
This video got a Big Smile from me. Positive was the energy back then . We got rid of the madness of race , color , politics or religion. Great Funkin Fresh Video.
I don't think you were alive back then. There's no way people got rid of race, color, politics or religion. It's always around and it was around back then too because I was alive and witnessed it Breakin was fun but it was just a movie.
@@dancingdog60 I was alive back then. I saw Breakin 2 in the theater. You are missing my point. I never said the movie cured anything. This movie was enjoyed by everyone. If this movie was made today, it would have been political and race baiting, etc. In fact, a lot of those movies back didn’t race bait or were political back then(Beverly Hills Cop, etc.)
Those were good days. Over the years life has taught me that good times never last. Change is always happening and to enjoy the good times as much as possible while you can.
I'm a bug softy. I watch these movies and I get so emotional. I was 5 when these came out. I've seem them so many times. Hip-hop was so fun back and I miss it. R.I.P Ozone!
I was then 20 years old and addicted to dancing and I watched Breakin' 3x. Daylight doesnt matter, there's no stopping me to cherish every moment of it.
This is from a 64 year old O.G Black man. I taking college courses and later trade school in the early and mid 80's. The 80's and 90's were my favorite decades. The emergence of Hip-hop, dj-ing, going to house parties, clubs, Jazz and Blues clubs were it for me. I seen 'Breakin' and Beat Street when they came out. These movies and others were favorites of mine as well as TV shows like Cosby, 227, Hill St. Blues, Night Rider, Miami Vice, Crime Story and A Different World. To me they are all connected because they were of the same decade and coexisted. Seeing this video clip of the old gang breaking brought back so much pleasant nostalgia and sentiment because I lived and loved the 80's and 90's 👍👍👍👍
@@lloydtucker7205 Remember very well.( sorry for the typo, and broken paragraph, I accidentally hit the send arrow before I was finished! ) I also enjoyed great shows and movies like Martin, New York Undercover, Pulp fiction, Jackie Brown, Space jam and Friday (pt.1!)
Yes they will. People from the 40's said kids from the 80's would never know "real fun". EVERY generations kids find a way to have fun. Even kids who lived in the Great Depression.
I missed it when us the next reunion. Remember watching breakdance back un the 80s than veat street in culver city in los Angeles. I was 13 love giw that fux the seen

And after that, they went to get the Early Bird Special at the local diner with their AARP discount cards! 😂 Our heroes (Rakim, Run-DMC, NWA, etc...) are all geriatrics now! Generation X can still flex!
My GOODNESS. Sooooooooooooo nice to see. You are sooooooooooooo amazing. More and more than eachothers. Peace, Love, Unity and Hapiness and Hapiness and Having Fun. 🙏🙏❤️❤️
Born in 96. I’m from a generation of violence… I wish I was there in enjoy those moments. We need something positive again or something to bring us together. We’re lost out here….
There was violence in the 80's too, kid. EVERY era has violence. No breakdancing didn't "bring us together". Only in movies. But, it was fun. Oh, and breakdancing still exists. It's going to be in the OLYMPICS this summer. EVERY era's kids find a way to have fun. Adios!
If I tried something like that now, Breakin' would refer to all the bones I'd break 🤣😂🤣😂. And be so out of breath. I still can't figure out how they glide their feet without the rubber gripping the ground.
