Is that the very 1st time we've ever seen Taker crack up like that on film?? Lol I started even cracking up too bc I can't ever recall him cracking up like that.😆
I would rather they actually make it up to us because we got played...I can't remember the last time that it wasn't an actual weekend event schedule for a big 4 ppv. No smackdown, no NXT, No Raw
2:47 I think the craziest part about this is that Mark didn’t even pick the champion of the company he’s employed too😭😭😭 bro didn’t even mention Swerve lmaooo
I'm cool with the 2-Night Summerslam thing but as a WWE fan from MN, this doesn't make up for not having WM in Minneapolis. No matter how hard they try they won't ever be able to give Summerslam the same relevance as a Wrestlemania. For many of us, attending a Wrestlemania is a bucket list goal to do before we die. I'm not gonna save up the amount of money it would take for a ticket to say I went to a Summerslam...
@@fitnesspal2007 yeah true, hell, I'm sure you'd be happy just to get a standard PLE lol couldn't imagine the cost to travel internationally to go to WM
I don't want to be rude but international fans don't get that and you complain about the second biggest show of the year? Be grateful your even getting a show. 2 nights of a big show and you complain bffr
@@adamsmithington7478 He shouldn't be grateful for anything. We're paying customers. If WWE promised an event in that city , they should hold it in that city.
Anyone else annoyed they reuse the Summerslam Detroit logo? Like if they’re going to make Summer Slam the WM of the summer, then commit to the new logos. They made a city exclusive logo for Nashville and Detroit, why did they stop for Cleveland and Minneapolis
Nah. SummerSlam shouldn't be two nights. We're getting a little too far from wrestling and a little too close to movie type booking with all these 2 Part PPV's. Watching SummerSlam with people is fun. Can't do that for both nights.
I'm totally up for a 2 night Summerslam however I think the Royal Rumble would definitely benefit massively from being 2 nights in order to give everything time to breath
I love the fact that WWE made summerslam two nights like it’s actually Wrestlemania for the summer!! Imagine if the Royal Rumble gets 2 nights for men and women?
I understand why some people think it's not a good idea but it just give them more time to make the show bigger & since it's part of 4 of the biggest PPV of the year. It will give off some WresteMania vibes to it.
IMO the only reason they did this was to give Minnesota a consolation prize for getting screwed out of hosting Wrestlemania, cause if Mania 41 is in Vegas, they announce this, that means that Minnesota already lost the Mania 42 bid to most likely London. This theory is made even more plausible because other than Mania 41 they haven’t announced any other 2025 events
You also forgot it's good for the wrestlers, more get on the show, so more exposure. Overall, we got to wait and see if it's an overall good decision for the fans.
I don’t know maybe they could make survivor series a two night event because on one night you could have two survivor series traditional tag team elimination matches while on the second night you could have a 2 wargames matches
I hate wargames matches. Traditional survivor series matches are way better and dramatic than boring wargames matches. If wargames matches had elimination stipulation like transitional survivor series matches than it would have been great.
@@JACQUEZ23 nah. Last 3 outta 4 Manias something wild came up either that Sat or Sun. Don’t wanna deal with that especially in the summer .. to each they own though
@@AliFrankTheTanki agree. You don’t need two shows. If the one show is 5-6 hrs to add a few more matches I’m good. Shorten the entrance times these wrestlers need to make it to the ring (Roman, Cody, Rock,😴😴😴😴) Why does Roman, Cody, etc, need 15 minutes to get to the ring? Why does each match need a 10 minute prematch, hype video reminding us why the upcoming match is occurring? If you’re watching the PLE, you probably already know what’s happening. Cut it down 😂😂😂. I bet that during a 4 hr PLE, 1.5 hrs are mainly commercials, videos, and long pre match entrances. Too much of a good thing isn’t always better, just overkill.
At least with aew there aren't scripted crappy promos written by soap opera writers. I like the fact wwe is no longer the only show to watch. Wwe is not wrestling its sports entertainment and aew, mlw, njpw and others are wrestling
@@tomingram4108 And yet, you're in this comment section on a video about WWE. WWE is living rent free in your Non Straight Edge head. Especially now since that CM Punk isn't in AEW anymore.
Royal rumble might also be 2 nights in the future. With the men's bout on one night and the women's bout another night as well as other matches and that would be awesome.
It will give a big PPV vibe as they should since SummerSlam is one of the 4's biggest PPV's of the year. But i get why some people prefer only one night.
Should have been Survivor Series that got turned into a 2 night event, to spread the big 2 night events out over the year more. Would give more time to have proper survivor series style matches. Summerslam should host the final of the king of the ring tournament. With the winner getting a shot at the title at Survivor Series.
Not exactly Wrestlemania. But this is definitely a nice constellation price. And it's two nights. So not only do I have the Special Olympics USA games to look forward to, but I have the biggest party of the summer to look forward to in 2026
Royal rumble would probably be the best for two nights because one night can be for all men's matches with men's rumble & the other night can be all women's matches with women's rumble
It’s about damn time someone stands up for Velveteen Dream! He is such a star and deserves another opportunity to prove himself as a person. The rumours/accusations (from what I know) have been proven as false and most people will never know that until big time wrestlers talk about it
I personally think it’s a great idea. The company is only growing, the men’s division is at its best. I can’t imagine how it will look after afew other AEW guys switch sides. Not to mention the women’s division THRIVING even without Charlotte. SummerSlam and Royal Rumble can easily be 2 night shows.
I agree. Its great for WWE moneywise but it doesn’t mean more good wrestling….just more filler between good matches. Last Wrestemania…the Sunday portion was great. The Saturday portion was meh. The best match was Rhea vs Becky. Too much of a good thing isn’t always better….its just overkill
@@mrityunjaigupta2325 lol then make Mania 3 night, I don’t know nor do I care cause I don’t think that takes away from Mania being a big night just the fact of it being Mania is already big enough. When all PPVs were 1 night did that take away from WM being special?
Mark casually telling Undertaker about murdering someone like I'm casually telling mum what I had for breakfast, is the vibe I didn't knew I needed . 😭
Honestly a second chance for velveteen Dream wouldn't be a bad idea. I believe there was a few gentleman that had been named in the company (wwe) during the me too movement and they were able to stay and be on TV.
I do not want them to do the 2 night format on every event, keep it to WrestleMania and SummerSlam :/ the 2 nights would lose the special feeling if they push it past those 2 events
Summerslam always was my favorite ppv. Summertime just hits different. Bbq with your family and friends, cold beers, pool looking clean,… Yeah sure wrestlemania is the best and the rumble is exiting as fuck but SS always holds a special place in my heart
Even i feel the top 4 Ple should be 2 night event that would be great more wrestling storylines can be planted for upcoming months keep it running but Wwe is cooking right now let them cook 🔥🔥
IF MAJOR PPVS LIKE SUMMERSLAM SURVIVOR SERIES AND/OR MITB OR ELIMINATION CHAMBER IS 2 NIGHTS THIS WOULD BE PERFECT. THIS MAKES PEOPLE WATCH FOR BOTH NIGHTS AS THERE COULD BE A TITLE CHANGE
Maybe Brock Lesnar retirement match occurs here if they ever have him back, Brock has been pretty synonymous with Summerslam throughout his career, and Minneapolis is as close to South Dakota as they're ever going to get.
