im positive bats are not supposed to break like that, I have a composite bat and I've been using it for years and it hasn't fazed. I think u guys got bad brands or models
To all the people saying it's not supposed to break that easily - it literally says "on the backside" in the description, as in they're using the incorrect side on purpose. Axe bats are one-side bats.
Imagine having more that 2 bats, a pitching machine, and a batting cage. I have 2 bats but one is dented so I cant even use it so I let my coach use it for pop flies and grounders...
wood bats are the best for little league, and they are awesome when they break in the game. you will never break a composite in a game cuz as soon as it cracks they wont let you use them. Plus a $100 bat sounds way better than a $300 bat.
ill probably get lost in the sea of comments but dude i see 2 massive things wrong one WEAR A HELMET AND EYEPRO (you even said there is shrapnel coming off wtf) and you dont know how that bat would have broke that could have seriously hurt him while hitting and that is not cool man trust me as soon as something like that lets go there is a LOT of kinetic energy going where ever it feels like and if your in the way your going to have a bad time
that's cuz its a made of a cheap aluminum, if you want a good aluminum bat, better get a Marucci. They are not too pricey and their wood bats have more pop than 90% of the USA baseball bats.
He’s definitely rotating his body too early. The proper sequence should be load, stride, lower half fire, upper half fire. Remember to let your stride foot land a second before releasing the hips and upper body. Also get your arms extended at contact and follow through. This video has been up for a while so you’ve probably already corrected some if not all of the flaws in your swing. Good Luck.
Brendan Scavelli Actually no. When you keep your front foot closed, you limited you hip rotation which causes less power. Most professional hitters that hit for power open up they front foot as soon as it lands.
I believe you are correct, and about 200 swings get it broke in. Best to hit it off a tee to ensure proper break in. You definitely don't want to hit off a pitching machine right away. lol.
100 hits? holy shit. i only played wood bats leagues so when i did break a bat it was somewhat cheap and it happened all the time, idk why but the 100 hits seems really low...
idk whats worse... the fact that you took the time to intentionally break a bat or that horrible swing getting replayed over and over again. Sheesh my eyes fuckin hurt.
As we've written about 1,000 times on this channel, we are not looking for hitting advice and this isn't a hitting channel---never claims to be. It is a bat channel about bats. But, thanks for watching!
Good Catch. Let us explain. It's not so much that if it breaks "easy" it is good. But, instead, because it breaks you know it is reaching the limit. Which means, in turn, the bat company made the bat close to the standard. So, when the bat is not breaking it is performing really well. It is irritating when the bat breaks (because you have to get it replaced) but a composite bat line that NEVER breaks means they likely didn't make it very hot. Or, at least as hot as others. The hottest composite bats out there play a fine line between breaking and working. And if they NEVER go over the line it is likely the bat isn't very hot.
Your son is late he is hitting it all the time the other way thats what my dad tells me and I am doing good in gamez and cages so tell him to get the bat out quicker or setup the tee infront of home so he could he could hit it their all the time
Biscuit Plays Dont ever try to tell someone how to play the game unless you have made it to the majors. Otherwise your talking nonsense and annoying people who try to get better with ignorance
Michael Brown lol that eliminates 99.9% of coaches in the world. Are you allowed to tell other people offering advice not to offer advice unless you’ve coached in the majors too?
TheMasterJarvis lmao cost is not a problem for the mlb... If they used composite bats every at bat would be a homerun... Everything you just said is wrong
