Thanks. Never noticed the wink. It looks like the wink was for Hank. After Hank killed Tuco (Hector's nephew) outside Hector's home he brought Hector in to finger Jesse. Hector hated Jesse but didn't finger him. Hector just gave Hank a very watery smelly answer. I guess the wink meant you must like the sh¡t I give you.
@@saulgoodman642 Ah right I supposed he meant revenge on Hank. But Yeah this is right before the explosion and he only does this to lure Gus into visiting him. My Bad :D
0:24 there was a scene earlier where hector tried to ask for the DEA but the nurse misinterpreted and said “oh honey, Dea ain’t a word” so it’s really funny that if you look closely, you can see their notepad is just “WANT SCHRADER, SCHRADER, WHERE SCHRADER” meaning he had to ask over and over before being able to have this interview.
That was probably after the interview started. He asked specifically to be interrogated by Schrader so that he could insult his nephew's murderer one last time.
Hector was a horrible man but it's hard not to enjoy watching him troll a room full of people without a care in the world, made even funnier is how they helped him without realising
My biggest criticism of BCS. Which isn’t really even a criticism. The show as it stands is fantastic, but I can’t take characters like Gus completely seriously, when he looks 20 years older than his supposed future self in BrBa. It was fine to begin with, but he’s gotten progressively older, obviously, and now he looks like he’s in his 60’s (which Giancarlo is), when he’s supposed to play a Gus Fring in his 40’s. People will tell me to suspend my disbelief, but I genuinely struggle to when their wrinkly faces are pressed up against the screen, and I’m supposed to accept them as younger.
@@Jade_EverfrostE (one ding) as in “letter in the E row” = F. U to which Hector reacted with many dings is: U. Then C from the A row . So in short: F U C …
It always pissed me off how inefficient the method of communication chosen by Hector's nurses was. I understand they won't be able to learn Morse code to communicate with one patient, but at least set the alphabet in three 3*3 squares and use the combination of square, row and column number to code a letter instead of going through the whole alphabet one by one.
@@santuka366 because you were used to him communicating through nothing but spelling words out, or by ringing a bell. The wink says everything you need to know in a fraction of the time.
@@rishabhanand4973Gus convinced them to attack Hank, tipped Hank off before the attack which caused Leonel to be crippled and Marco shot. Then he had Mike finish Leonel off with poison…. Gus told him all of this and thus Hector avenged them both.
he couldve easily take revenge and snitched on Jesse who shot Tuco, and Gus who killed his family, but he didnt. They may be enemies but he's not a rat
@@thatleftyjames2893 Yes he did. Gus even tells the twins it was Hank. I'm SURE that he knew it was Hank, especially since he told them that the DEA is off limits.
Gus didn't want to kill Hector: He wanted to make him suffer and take down the cartel by himself. Likewise Hector didn't want the DEA to take down Jessie or Gus. That would have been more of a disgrace than revenge. Rather he saw the only change he had to take revenge on Gus and he took it
RIP🕊️ Mark Margolis, couldn’t believe the news when I heard it. Thank you for giving the world such iconic and amazing performances such as Tio, hope you’re finally at peace. 🙏🏼 😢
As someone who just finished S4, this genuinely had me dying. How can Vince manage to create a series with such intensity and still manage to give it a great sense of humor?
He's a very talented dude. His work on x-files back then was insane as well. And made Bryan Cranston known too. IIrc he's the one who write out Drive that made Cranston into Breaking Bad later on. But even if he did not, he made most classics episodes. He's a hella good writer.
I can only imagine how painful it is for Hector to sit there and stare at the same dude who murdered two of his nephews and maimed another…..Granted they all absolutely deserved it, it still must be a very bitter moment for him LOL
@@kebz9303 Well, he killed Tuco and Marco but only maimed Leonel. Mike was the one who finished him off with the fatal injection LOL. Had mike not intervened, Leonel would have survived
i wouldn't say murdered considering all 3 of them shot first, i think he almost definitely wanted to keep tuco alive, would still be infuriating and painful knowing that you have no ability to speak to the man who killed them all though
@@leonpaelinck And Walt and Jesse only got Tuco killed because he was trying to kidnap them. Hector just hates it when his family’s actions have consequences.
If there ever was a moment Hector was happy to be crippled and only capable of ringing that Bell, it probably was here, honestly, I think that they only thought of the bell specifically for this scene
I love the fact that Hector is so disabled that he is forced to live and cooperate with the people who killed his family. Hank, Walt, Jesse, Gus... He can't do anything to them! This is wonderful.
It will never not be amazing that Hector despite being mute and unable to properly function still holds so much power in that chair and with that bell.
Hector smile in the thumbnail is just like the one after he knew lalo is alive, he hated Gus more than anyone, hector lost any hope of revenge after he heard that lalo is dead, then lalo gives him a phone call promising revenge but somehow it didn't happen hinting that lalo died and he will never comeback, Walter gave him his Last hope of revenge, bringing back that smile again
0:46 when Hank is staring him down using his facial expression to say, this is going where I think it's going? Right? 0:49 Hector with the little raise of the eyebrow. I always took this as him saying to Hank, yeh it's happening, and also having to communicate this way sucks right? So subtle. Amazing acting.
Don Hector literally try to say "suck my [redacted]" and "[redacted] you." One of the funniest moment in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul universe as a whole.
