This just reiterates my love for Ben and his band, and how real of a person he is. Thanks for recording this, and sharing it with us. I really don't know another entertainer who'd risk 'messing up' because of their voice being 'off' - let this be a lesson to them. We as fans love Ben even more for doing this for us (I wasn't there, I was speaking for the crowd, which I'm sure is warranted). The crowd participation was amazing, made me wish I was there for it. Thanks again.
Not surprised his voice is messed up. The night before at norva concert he was vaping like every 20 seconds. What did you expect? Lol plus being in the crowed it smelled like fruit loops lol cause he was vaping so much. you are not in your 20s anymore take care of yourself please.
No, his voice is messed up because of his choices when he was younger, he has a really bad disease that destroyed his voice as a result of drinking. (Among other problems btw.) It has nothing to do with vaping, he's very ill and still tries to jam out. Have some respect and learn what you're saying first.

@@t3chn070 he drank a lot back in the day and had a lot of neurological issues and the last time I really heard about him talking about it. It was in an interview years ago saying doctors couldn’t pin point what the disease was but it was slowly taking a toll, never have I heard anything of Ben’s voice being messed up due to drinking and or the neurological issues he has, and alcohol didn’t cause the neurological issues I think he drank as a result from those issues at first! He’s been off alcohol for a long time, I remember maybe 10-12 years ago he said if I die I’d rather do it onstage doing what I love, then started getting better, a lot better over the years, then I stopped hearing about the mystery disease and lack of a diagnosis, I can tell you one thing for sure, the night of these videos his voice was gone from playing the first show of the tour the night before at the norva in VA he sings almost every song that night and killed, next night he literally sang back up in one song and over time you could even hear his voice creek and screech when he was only talking, so yea sorry I wrote soo much, I was talking texting hahaha but yea this night his voice was fucked from blowing it the night before and possibly not being fully prepared to start the tour, voice wise!
@@JoeMoore413 It’s been a known thing his voice has suffered as a result of illness. It has gotten better especially in recent years, but his voice is very fragile and he can’t do the growls anymore.
They were my first concert. It was supposed to be them and Three Days Grace but unfortunately Three Days couldn't play. Ben and the guys gave us a full concert anyway. I love these guys so much. They sound so friggin good live.
I've been a fan since Dear Agony (2009) and still remember just being a little kid, barely 10 years old, hearing I Will Not Bow for the first time which introduced me to the concept of downtuning. I was stunned and amazed at all of it. But I think most of all, I loved his voice and lyricism. If I had to listen to the work of only one artist for the rest of my life it would be Ben's. I never get tired of what he creates. Ever. For me, nothing has had as profound of an impact as him and his works. If it weren't for him I honestly wouldn't think I'd give a shit about music at all let alone be playing guitar. Now I'm playing a baritone 7 string lolz. I want to attend one of his concerts at least once in my life and at least have the chance to tell him about the impact that he's had on my life and to thank him for having taught me so much through his music. I feel that he doesn't get enough credit for what does and has had a huge influence on several other metal bands. If we can all at least keep his legacy alive I'll be very much at peace.
That’s awesome brother!!! Yea Ben’s one of those singer/writers that I would have paid to hear him yawn two blocks away lol so I didn’t mind his voice was gone that night. Yea dear agony dropped right when I found out I was having a kid and I was only 18 at the time and that album helped me soo much and gave me soo much strength for what was to come! My sons 14 now and likes breaking Benjamin!!! Hahaha it all worked out like a circle hahah
