Yeah....not so sure about it being about suicide. Ben never said what the meanings behind his songs were because he said “I'm obviously influenced by the things going in my life, but that doesn't mean that I need to put that on the listener and make them experience what I experienced when I listen to it." Also doesn’t even sound like a song about suicide, I know plenty but this ain’t one.
It's sad the demon responsible for suicide got a good hold on me. I've got the power to write, and inspire. I received everything I prayed for except a better situation. I could have everything but the only thing holding me back is myself. When the eminem schizophrenia was happening to me I got soo addicted to the stress and depression, that I started to like it. I forced myself to feel whole when I was in the void. Having those thoughts but unable to leave the bed to even attempt. Not that I would anyways..... not again. I was 10. Now I'm 18 with so many rap psychosis, I feel like a walking insane asylum. Keep pushing friend. When this started I knew I would see it out and I did. What doesnt kill you makes you stronger
More like cutting off the parts of yourself that are attached to sinful tendencies.... removing pieces of your own personality, realizing these things were nothing more than a hollow shell for the real you which is a lot less emotional or individual.... we're machines made for our creator's purpose and that will be wha we do for eternity one way or another....

This song is about suicide, but Set It Off's one, with the same name, says 'Life's too short to be dancing with the devil', therefor I can't kill myself today, Satan, Cody said that like is too short for it. But I fucking loved that music??
More the fact we're born with the sinful disposition, satan tries to keep us off the path to salvation and our diligence to stay in the path may end up cutting our life short, as if there was a reason to stay here any longer than we have to but our own family but once we leave our concerns will also be gone. So "dancing with the devil," is like the act of living and hating satan the entire time and yet while mortal are subject to torment, but in torment comes clarity and the ability to see evil for what it is, even if we're knee deep participating in it ourselves, we hate this part of ourselves and we know the reason for our suffering and by consequence the suffering of everyone else, even kids or the u born who never even had the opportunity to commit a sin at all... we dance begrudgingly, and the only solace is that it will end one day.
