This is the full concert recording of their live performance at Stabler in 2007 included with the Phobia Collector's Edition. All the music and footage used is not owned by me. All credits go to Breaking Benjamin.
Same here they are a connection between me and my first love that became my wife. 18 years we have known each other. she introduced me to them when phobia was the newest album.
"I will not bow" was the first song I heard. I was around maybe age 6 to 8 (I don't exactly remember). I loved them for years. Me and my mom would listen to them when she was doing my hair. I don't know what ever happened to my love for them. I just stopped listening to them. Every once in a while though, I remember them and watch this live video specifically. I watched it all the time when I was young. I'm 13 now, and I may not listen to them much anymore, but their music always holds a special place in my heart. I miss those times when I was young, they were some of the best. Kids, enjoy your childhood while it lasts, because you won't experience anything else like it.
I was so lucky to be at this show. I took my two sons and a friend of theirs. It was all their first concert. It was absolutely amazing. Funny, i didn't notice his voice showing any signs of him being sick, i was just so into the whole damn vibe. It was freaking awesome!
@@AlexH-yd4vj Around this time he was severely abusing alcohol and he kept getting sick and fucking up his throat. I remember watching a few interviews of him during this time period around 2007-2008 and that's how I remember this info.
He actually developed a serious alcohol induced medical condition called wet brain which pretty much causes you to have symptoms of a lung infection like constantly. It didn't really resolve until after he had been sober for quite some time, around when they reformed.
Ben's voice is so freaking strong! He was sick that day and he did not duck out from the difficult singing parts, he nailed most of them with good tone. Props to the man!
This is the only fully professional consumer-available recording of one of their concerts out there! I just happen to have one of, if not *the* best audio and visual quality of any uploads on RU-vid. It comes from a bonus DVD known as “Breaking Benjamin: Live at Stabler” that came with the Phobia Special Edition.
@@HenrikLien first off, I play 4 different instruments and went to school for audio engineering and sound production, second off, just because something is easy doesn’t mean I have to do it. Maybe I don’t want to write generic bullshit music. Foh.
Became a fan of this amazing band back in 2014 when I was 15 in high school they along with Evanescence, Fall Out Boy, and Korn carried me through my sophomore year. 24 going on 25 and I still love them BB 4 life 🤘🏼💯🔥
Its been 14 years since the show and i'm still loving the band, its almost like watching a friend play for many of us - Ben's voice and overall health is far FAR from what it is here, but i still support the guy ( and band ), hope he's got one more album in him before he retires. One of the best live artists when he was in his prime.
@@Phobicsleaguechannel333 Ben has been struggling with Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome from past drinking, and has a mystery illness that no one can figure out. He has been getting some what better but he’s struggled with it for a long time now.
Breaking Benjamin got me through so much in High School, especially their Phobia album. Such a masterpiece of an album I can listen to it front to back twice without skipping a single song, it must be one of my most listened to albums of all time. I would love to see Breaking Benjamin live but unfortunately I'm from the UK, if I ever travel to the States the first thing I would do is book some tickets. Anyway keep on rocking out people of RU-vid and everyone have a good day! 🔥🤟👏👍🙌👊🎶🔥
Best real artist ever Benjamin is a truest and a realest don’t ever change please we love u so very much thank you for all you’ve done for music and how live performances should be done
that mix sounds so crisp!!! sound engineer did a great job on this one ! all modern recordings of live concerts from 2010 - now sound so thin and weak but this is just nuts
I didn't know that band 'till last week. But last weekend I was looking for new rock bands on RU-vid Music and I found Breaking Benjamin. That band is really cool.
I missed my one chance to see this band, live.... I AM FLABBERGASTED by this video!! I love breaking benjamin's music... but they are TOPS in concert!!!!!!!
Can't believe it's been almost 13 years since I heard them for the first time. Got into their music right before Dear Agony was released. Time sure flies when you have awesome music to enjoy.
Been in a concert in Chicago back in august 2018 , still the best night in my life to this day. They made such a great show and i had the best time ever. almost went to another concert but couldnt because of covid-19 .
my favorite era of BB, the new lineup is not bad but the music is too atmospheric for my taste.. also with just 2 guitars, they sound a lot groovier and playful... I love the interplay of riffs between Ben and Aaron
Yeah this lineup was amazing. I will always be a BB superfan as Ben has been like my idol and the reason I started playing music, but something about this era was just so great, and the music now feels different. Still good but different. You can tell Ben wasn't the only one writing Ember.
phobia is hands down my favorite record from them, followed ember. They're the only band that i listened to as a kid that still consistently put out some of their best work.
Gosh I had so much fun singing along while getting ready for the day. Breaking Benjamin is my therapy and sobriety band. Thanks guys and to whoever posted this. 💯🤘
@@eugenetombs I believe you, but it's just listening to him, he no longer reaches the high notes of songs like I Will Not Bow or Breath, that's why Aaron always helps him with the vocals. Ben's best live vocal era was on the Saturate tour
@@Lucas500ll have you ever seen them live? I saw them as recent as a year ago and don’t connect with what I’m hearing from you but also you gotta give people some grace he’s a lot older. I’m just not hearing what you’re hearing at the shows I’ve been to.
Chad Szeliga is working with Black Star Raiders these days. And no, he actually sorta doesn’t lol on a lot of them he adds his own flair, but he gets the main beat down.
@@GavynnnnnI forgive him though. As someone who plays piano. Once I have a song memorized. It never sounds the same. I improvise so much. I can't help it. It like if I give you a recipe. I don't expect you to never change it. I think you will change it every time you cook.😊😊 Only Mozart excepted people to stick to the script. LMAO
@@Gavynnnnn okay thank you. I prefer the Long intro version better but either way probably the best song by them in my opinion. Is there anyway I can find a version of the song with the long intro?
@@AshtonG2022 Also, personally I think they have a lot of much better songs. Breakdown, Away, Ordinary Man, Lady Bug, Phase, Home, No Games, Wish I May, just to name a few
