I’m grateful for that because that’s one of the biggest things I miss is being around the players and coaches. The other thing is scheming and talking ball. Thanks again for the prospective. They were in a more pass happy conference in the pac12. The big 12 is more balanced. And you cant give any analysis a position coach defensive film since the defensive coordinater is resposible for calling defensive plays and coverages. The position coach trains/educates the players on the coverages/playes.

@@BuffedInPrime I actually looked at the sacked highlights. Shedeur was an average of only 2 seconds. That's what I really gave Coach Prime a failing grade on, along with penalties and the lack of adjustments. The game where lost a 29 point lead (forgot the name of the team, too painful) was an example of that. We had too many holes and the run game to me was a close second to the O-line getting their ass beat and lunch money taken!

@@Nickg2k1 I watched all of his film lol didn’t see a snap at safety, until he plays safety you can’t determine range. I believe he was recruited as a nickel, that’s his most comfortable position

Star is typically your best DB. I played star same year as minkah in the same defensive scheme. Problem is, Star is HEAVILY involved in run fits, and Travis body isn’t meant to be that involved currently. Especially when you factor him playing both sides of the ball

That’s my only issue is Travis body isn’t built for it but, on obvious passing downs I would move him around I hated when Eddie Jack got hurt and Bama had to use Minkah at safety and Brown had to guard Winfrew that cost Bama a chip. Hunter is as lethal as Sherman in zone type coverages.

Oklahoma state is pass heavy, so will Arizona moving in. Kansas and k state are definitely run heavy. Texas tech is literally right down the middle. Definitely more teams running than before, think it’s more because of lack of qb talent. I watched a lot of Kansas last year and they were awful trying to throw

I honestly didn’t watch too many big 12 offenses in depth last year, most I saw was WVU, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas’s (obviously utah and Arizona) the way we win or need to win is forcing teams to pass, I think pass defense will be our biggest strength so we have to be able to stop the run effectively

May not have been first choice but was the right choice. Coach Prime was looking for a D Coordinator that fit His needs and HIS vision, not just who people felt were “best available”

3 Teams in Big 12 were in top 15 of passing attempts and only 2 teams were in top 15 for rushing yards. If you include Arizona, and exclude Oklahoma, 2 of the top 10 YPG passing is out of Big 12 and 2 of top 10 passing attempts out of big 12.

Big 12 had a lot of rush yards per game because the defenses are TERRIBLE 😂 but when you look at rushes, only 1 in top 10
