The scoring needs to be modified to emphasize damage. Years ago martial arts fights were determined based on damage inflicted. The reason being if the fight were to continue who would most likely win. Although subjective, damage is a good indication of who inflicted more serious damage. Hitting without damaging the opponent although scoring does not mean you could stop the opponent. Based on the last rounds and Bivol's face it was clear that he suffered more damage and probably could have been laid out if the fight continued.
