Hey everyone,
It's been a while since I put out a video but I thought what better than one featuring the "infamous" Adams Run. This trails difficulty is definitely overhyped and I continue to meet a lot of intermediate/beginner riders out on the trail that have never even attempted it. My goal with this video is to breakdown some of the most challenging features on Adams Run and to hopefully encourage some of you to give it a shot :)
Thanks for watching

Great video. I’ve done this run by walking over the features but will definitely give the smaller drops a go next time.

Late to the conversation, but holy cow! I agree with some of the earlier comments. You way undersold yourself at the start of the video. I ride the Hydrocut a couple times per week and have considered myself a solid intermediate rider. I aspire to ride the jumps in the future like you, but the rock ledges during the end of a hard climb @9:00 of the video, I think no friggin' way ever. You got skill and stamina. I'd be curious to know what you must do to consider yourself an advanced or expert rider. BTW, those on the Red Bull or UCI MTB competitions don't count - they are way way off the scale.

Fun fact: original trail is reverse. My husband & his friend built the trail. My Adam also built Sweet Street :)

Thanks for the video it's neat to see what our trail has become. Adam and I cut that trail out of the bush in 96' and it's changed a lot! It was originally Adams' Run 2 because two Adams made it together, Adam Trotter and Adam Wasik (me).

You definitely can! Take each feature one at a time! Always helps to ride with someone experienced in the trail too.

@@Chewwsky i have spent all this time thinking my bike wouldn't be up to it LOL I just found the only full suspension bike in my area this summer thus no choice in the amount of travel... so I am dealing with 130mm/115mm. You did such a good job of breaking down the features.... seems totally doable. Cheers!

Nice video. You're definitely a better rider than a "beginner". Beginners cannot do Adams run as cleanly as you did all those obstacles. Just clearing the first obstacle requires good bike awareness and timing.

@@Chewwsky some people just like flow trails better. Adam’s run has a lot of sharp edges and abrupt drops so I can see why he doesn’t like it. I personally prefer sweet street more than Adam’s run because it’s more my style on my hardtail. Adam’s run is still fun.
