Cam had me as a believer after leading the team to a 28-point comeback win against The Knicks in MSG as a Rookie. I knew he could be special but understood he needed to wait his turn as he was drafted onto a contender but once that fell apart his development should've been the #1 priority for the franchise and at times it didn't feel like it, now it seems his organization is backing him and Im excited to see what else Cam can do with more opportunities.
Really appreciate you guys are showing him love this second half of the season. Now PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEE don’t include him in any trade this offseason. Let him be a part of this franchise’s fabric that gets us back into the playoffs and develop into a contender.
I have an impression that the Brooklyn Nets channel is Jinxed, every off-season they made a video about one of their players, that player ends up being traded. Last year was Joe Harris and Patty Mills. Plz god don't let Cam Thomas go away from the Nets
If we get Mitchell it's should be for 3 picks only one of them unprotected suns..and salary filler..if not wait till 25 FA..Could also do Cam Johnson DFS and 2 or 3 picks..but trading Cam Thomas is suicide
@@pimpnamedslickback7780 so we go 4 1sts 2 swaps & 2nds..Dayron Sharpe maybe..Cam Johnson DFS 4 1sts 2 1st round swaps 3 2nds & Dayron..That is better then Lakers offer
If he wouldn’t have been taken out of the starting lineup, or missed time in the beginning of the season due to injuries his averages probably would’ve been higher. Cam has alot of promise and I hope he continues to excel and stay focused on and off the court.
Trade Dorian for a Pick and draft someone with skill. Play Claxton, sign Jonas Valanciunas along with Jalen Smith, and COMMIT to Cam Thomas playing Point-Guard. CamT Mikal CamJ Clax at the 4 Valanciunas at the 5 If we're not on the path to making the Playoffs by the deadline, FIRE Sean Marks and blow up this mess. This team will uncover success because Cam Thomas will emerge as the League's next Star
Unfortunately, you didn't go into anything on the defensive side of the ball. That is where I hope he can at least be average and then his value will really skyrocket
Clicked off the video as soon as you called him 6’4. If you’re going to break a player down, a quick search of their combine measurements would be a good place to start.
did you not watch the video? the first point made about his development was about playing off the ball but besides that who on the roster was he supposed to play off the ball too when they lacked ball handlers all season?
@@marlinesutherland5358 Royce, Spencer (in the time they were here), Mikal, DSJ, Schröder, CJ, Lonnie and TWatt were all ball handlers next to Cam. Plenty of off ball time for Cam.
@@chrisk.2255 only about 2-3 of those guys were ball handlers. At the start of the season he was getting mins with DSJ, towards the middle it was Spencer and then ended it with Dennis. None of those guys could consistently create open looks because they weren’t threats offensively.
