Idk about "instant classic". Honestly, UGA wasn't even setting the world on fire in the 2nd half. At least on O. But through a series of gaffes and flaccid play-calling, Bama just left the door open for Georgia to climb back into it. I wouldn't say it's a game we'd watch again 10 years from now though.

I called Georgias comeback due to the unsportsmanlike conduct call on Alabama at the end of the half. Something that would have never happened under Saban. I said that Georgia has to just punch them in the mouth and the team will fold. I was partially correct on that assessment. If Beck doesn’t turn the ball over 4 times, well they may have lost the game. Coach Deboer has got to stop his players from showing and getting so complacent in their egos. This team needs to get more disciplined and fast or else Texas will humiliate them.

I agree with you. Beck's got a good head on his shoulders, but all that NFL Draft hype must've wormed its way into his head a little bit. An early season L, where he plays just terrible, might be just the thing to refocus. UGA's good, no matter how you slice it, going forward.

@@wealthyfuture4274 While i do agree with you, the first half wasn't the same Georgia that's been stopping offenses this year. That first half Georgia was making every mistake it could, some of the worst playing I have ever seen under Smart; two int, dropping catches/kicks, running-back fumbling it, and above all else, we could not tackle at all. It was making me go crazy that we were grabbing Alabama players, but not finishing the tackle. It reminded me of the ol' Mark Rickt days. If the same defense played in the first half, like it did in the second, it would of been a different story. However, this has been the problem this year with GA, they don't get going till after half time. AL has a great team, but this game did in fact show that they are not nearly as good without Saben, Saben would not of allowed the comeback.

Let's see it was all due to a little help from the refs, offensive pass interference calls, safety call, the Bama offense inability to drive the ball down the field without the big play.
