The 50-50 was there because he started with a 50-50 and every trick was mirrored in that section. 50-50 -> Nollie Fs Heel 50 180 Nollie Croock -> Nollie Fs Flip 50 180 Nose Grind 180 -> Fakie Bs Flip Nose Grind 180 Nollie 180 5-0 -> Nolle Bs 180 50 180 Fakie Flip 50 180 - > Nose Grind 180 Sw Bs Flip 50 180 -> Fakie Croock Nollie Bs Heel 50 180 -> 5050

@@freshafro7098 NO mark talks in his interview about this mirror lines how hard it was too structure this line section. Befor the section starts there ist a shot wher you can see a - a - b- b it's at 9:43 in his part before the mirror line section starts

There is a reason for the 50-50 at the end... It's part of a symmetrical play within the 7 last lines and it's probably the reason why it's called "Verso". This part is a masterpiece and the guy is a genius!

Jack Bradley 6 days ago The 7 lines at the end are almost perfectly symmetrical in terms of backside/frontside 180s, backside/frontside to the ledge, flip/heel, and nollie/fakie: Line 1 - 50-50, nollie fs heel fakie 5-0 bs 180 out Line 2 - Nollie crook, nollie fs flip fakie nosegrind fs 180 out Line 3 - Nosegrind fs 180 out, fakie bs flip nosegrind fs 180 out Line 4 - Nollie fs 180 sw fs 5-0 fs 180 out, Nollie bs 180 fakie bs 5-0 fs 180 out Line 5 - Fakie flip sw 5-0 sw back 180 out, nosegrind bs 180 out Line 6 - Sw bs flip nosegrind bs 180 out, fakie crooks Line 7 - Nollie bs heel sw 5-0 bs 180 out, 50-50 Look at the first and last trick, then the second and second last trick, then the third and third last trick etc. Line 4 is in the middle, and the two tricks are symmetrical to each other. Any of these lines on their own are pretty insane, but the fact that Mark planned these lines out to be virtually symmetrical and then actually did it seems pretty amazing to me.

Shout-out to love park baby! I'm from Wilmington, a city 20 miles south of Philadelphia, and we have a local DIY we built over the last 8 years, and when they demolished LOVE park not too long ago, our local skateshop owners were able to get two of the ledges that everyone used to skate, they ripped them out of ground at Love and brought them right to our DIY where they still get skated regularly. So if Chris or anyone still wants to come and shred a piece of skate history, the park is called 7th Street Skatepark (says 'Babiarz Park' on Google maps, but it's called 7th St) in Wilmington, DE - Plz nobody steal them, they mean a lot to us.

Suciu said himself in his SOTY nominee video that his last trick took him over a year to do and in his own words he said it took him like 2000 tries, the 50-50 at the end was basically a ''fck you 50-50'' , Suciu literally says that in the that video I was talking about

I grew up on chris cole in bloom. Sight unseen, a single 411 VM i had that i watched a million times. The globe video, minikimati , sorry l. Those remind me of sitting on the computer downstairs with my board next to me as i watched videos before skating the box in my driveway lol. Skate vids are the porno of skateboarding

I loved the 50-50 at the end because after he did that much jaw-dropping insane shit we’ve never seen, it was like he was just fucking with us at that point. And really, after the rest of the part, what could you possibly do to properly end it? It’s almost like there was nothing left, so he just said fuck it, 50-50 for fun! Loved it!

you can skate pyramid ledges wuthout getting kicked out if you go at night. there r out door seats for a restaurant right where the run up is. its also easier to skate in the winter generally.

Skateboarding is bullshit today. Dudes complaining about a 5050, i remember coming up in the 90s and flat ground halfcabs in a line MADE the line. A simple 5050 is great, it stirs up contoversy and is probably there for the joyful simplicity of skating, kinda like jason Lee's tin can folklore part.
