I love the energy Supatease puts into his work. it just magnifies the skill of the players and immersive watching experience. And he NEVER misses when a kill lands.
Your casting commentary is so good, man. Idk how you casters manage to keep your attention on practically everything all at once and speak so quickly and fluidly about what's going on.
Totally agree I love commentary from these guys they are so knowledgeable. I will say that as these guys are also avid players of the game at the highest level they are able to recognize what's important and they see even the smallest details. Commentary done by people who know what's up is so so much better than people who only just know though to get by
When you've played the game at such a high level as long as them you know what the players are going to do before they do it. They know what the win conditions and if someone is at risk of dying. The casters know intuitively what to tune out and what to focus on. Ziqo, venruki, and supatease are all multi glads and I'm pretty sure they've even competed at some point. You couldn't ask for better casters for awc. It's like this with anything though, eventually you just intuitively understand what's going on and can focus on the small details that matter.
@@arthurlulan no 1 has herd of u lol imagine being washed up an not even relevant in life trying to tell pros who thousands of ppl know that they're washed lmao your life must suck bud
Amazing series!! The highlight in the grand finals showcase exactly how exploitable dragon healing is. It's especially rough into Rsham because of static field, thunderstorm and earthgrab roots which are the tools that allowed Lontar to solo CC Cdew without casting anything other than lasso
ask Raiku if he Loose if he will say the same thing, the 1st thing Echo will Tweet is Ping disadvantage. PS : Ping does matter, its just that Echo are reigning supreme in the AWC forever so its completely possible to win with the ping issues, that doesn't mean that Liquid are bad or the other teams are bad but echo is just better than them all and history proves it.
The ping was a huge issue. Liquid only won 1 game the ENTIRE tournament on EU ping. And they still managed to come second in the tournament. That says a lot in my opinion. I think Raiku was completely within the limits of fair sportsmanship. The only reason why the Liquid players tried to downplay it with the whole "it is what it is" statements was because they had the advantage. I'm 100% sure Cdew would have complained on Twitter had it been the other way around. Like he always complains about metas that don't fit their team.
Sucks the stuff with Jelly happened and that he never got to play. Jelly is such an insane hunter, and I'm sure he could multiclass at the same level. Just seems like the Move is almost dead set on ONLY playing RPS. I feel like the situation with Mes is a little different since he has been utilized in the past when the team was maining walking dead. Theres just not a good position for Mes at the moment, but he has had a ton of play time in the past. I barely remember seeing Jelly in a handful of games in the last 4 years.
@@quintenmangelschots7250 not sure. The only thing I've heard is that jelly said they were shitty friends. Idk what the circumstances of him leaving were.
Best tourny in a while. Besides the ping, this was hands down a collection of the best games in the last years. Good to step out of the mono-region-same-teams format :).
Wow that was amazing. I fuckkng love dragonflight tbh idk why ppl hate on it shits so fun and virtually all specs are playable which in most xpacs I played was vastly not the case.
as someone who is missing luminosity not fighting liquid constantly, it was really awesome to see an eu team come out and dominate, give em a run for their money maybe theres a new rivalry brewing on the scene and im all for it. Could be very interesting to see how their strategies against eachother make both teams evolve into even crazier players yet again Also yea its such a shame that blizzard has no clue how to design or balance unholy dk or most melee for that matter and therefore mes never gets to be lord mes in his glory
NA Geography kekw :) But a serious question. Wouldn't east coast NA have "0" latency and be best? if prize pool is bigger, players would fly to east coast?
Welcome to our world of ping here in South Africa. We HAVE to play with 165ping min. :( some times it can easy go to 250. And some of us still manages to get 2k rating.
What If the guys that made it to the finals lose to the team that comes from the lower bracket in a best of 5. It resets and then they play again (i think they do something like that in fighting games)
If I had a nail between my buttcheeks, by the end of this game it would have been a razor blade...god damn amazing to witness such mastery of the game. I love wow pvp!
or just bring back LAN tourneys yeah its a lot of money but microsoft (they bought blizz recently) is a 3.028 trillion dollar company almost so i dont see the problem lmao they could 100% fund the next like 20 tourneys for LAN
Why does LoL, dota 2, cs go etc. all have lan tourneys but blizzard is too cheap to make one or what? Or is it because the teams (except for liquid and echo) arent real teams and they know players cant afford hotel and plane tickets? Cuz if they had real sponsored teams like TSM, C9, Faze etc. they'd be the one paying for hotel and tickets, but since in wow most teams dont have sponsor and blizzard is too cheap to pay or what?
Edit: i used to play with 300 ms ping and i believe its "just" supposed to be around 0.3 seconds delay, wich does suck specially as melee, but is not 3 seconds. Wish that was the final match. It was epic. Moonkin seems like a bit of a liability, i would die IRL if i was either sam and cdew watching that healthbar lol.
@@OWnIshiiTrolling thank you, that's exactly what I said. When the game shows 300ms it's around 0.3s delay, is not exact and it fluctuates. And not 3s as I believe Ven said
@@caaltaga It's supposed to be exactly 0.3 second. It isn't in reality but that doesn't mean that it is "supposed to be around" 0.3 seconds. Your struggle with the concept of "exactly" thus, unfortunately, persists.
Liquid only won 1 game the ENTIRE tournament on EU ping (against Lava Lava). So I think it's pretty safe to say that the ping made a pretty huge difference.
Trill is pinpoint with his rotation on every class. min-maxing your dmg in pvp pays off big aswell. he admitted that he practices his rotation for hours on target dummies before the races to world first
@@maagi1 But they complain about the ping they get when playing the cross region tournment. Meanwhile AU (and maybe other Oceanic countries) play with worse ping than they do every single day.
Get used to 5 ping and 25 will make you pull your hair out. Get used to 25 and 45 will make you pull your hait out. Every +20 ping is a night and day difference. 10 is a decent difference, 15 is a lot and 20 is fucking huge. Ive played on 26, 33 and 49 ping and the gap between the first two and the last was massive. Like legit i wanted to uninstall the game when i had 49 ping, but thankfully i changed ISP and ping went back to normal. Anything over 50 ping is too high imo for a competitive real time game. Like if u dont have lower than 50 ping in a game dont even bother playing.
The ping thing sucks but it's still the next best thing after a lan. And if blizz cba doing lan, then I'd still rather have this than no cross region at all. Amazing tourney regardless, imo. Insane games between the best of the best. As a WW main, I was happy seeing Hoolibang having so much success with their unorthodox comp, even though they didnt make it all the way.
He was kicked out of The Move and a lot of drama happened, his relationship with the team was severely affected and its unclear where theyre at at the moment. But he's longer with the team thats for sure
As much as I love WoW, Esport wow is just not it, It is so boring to watch. I think the emphasis on high end PvP is what is truly killing this game. Building this game's pvp around 3v3 arena in hopes of people watching it as an Esport is driving people who actually play the game away.
Have all the players from all regions meet at a secret base in the Bermuda Triangle where they battle on LAN. It’s the only way I’m sure everyone will agree
This applies to LoL and Cs go too. What makes eu better? Is it the food? Eu has banned lots of harmful ingredients that NA allows, so maybe the food is making NA brain worse? Or is it the ping? Eu avg ping is like 25 while NA is 50-60. Or is it the money and the competitive drive? Na is rich so they're complacent?
Eu players should vpn to NA while na ones will vpn to eu. This will always increase the ping of the lower ping team and likely reduce the ping of the higher ping team, bridging the gap
Echoes just won because DH is waay overtuned. they did not deserve it. Blizzard balancing at its worst....any other non-DH team deserved this victory more (I dont have a favorite).
Howcome Bethany, the best mage in the game, sits around in reg bgs, and then baits all the youtubers and paid players into failure when they face her/him? Is it because they work for nasa?
You see? 30% damp and the top rated players start panic playing. This effect of dampening kills the pvp and skill doesnt matter anymore when its reach at least 30%. From that time, the class decides class design decide. This is why wow pvp is a mess today. (y i know ppl hates long matches, then dont play mmorpg :) )
it might be a one of the best games i've seen but i'm sorry the number 1 spot for greatest game of all time will always go to the goat himself: Orangemarmalade.
The sad part is, this clutch play made them so over confident in the comp they instant locked it every time in the grandfinals and just got destroyed. If they just tried something else they could’ve won. Definitely insanity at play here.
Its beyond me that the bracket is set up so that liquid can go undefeated, beat a team to the lower bracket, and then not get an advantage best of 8 against the team they already beat. It should be echo needed 6 wins and/or liquid would need 4. Kinda bs a team can get practice against you, lose, and come back with way more knowledge then win 🙄
You bring up a good point, however if Echo lost in the lower bracket and then Chibaku Tensei went on to beat Liquid in the finals no one would really say anything. so I guess no matter what you have to be prepared in the finals and not have additional points just accumulate cause you beat a team before the final
Liquid dodged both The Move and Chibaku Tensei, the latter could have absolutely beaten em on a decent day. They also had ping advantage on most of their wins. It's insane.
I asked him today why he did more damage than Pikaboo he told me Pika is utility setup for Wizk to do damage so its different technique vs him and sam which is straight up Dam with less DR on stuns.
