Breaking Down The COLOR OF THE YEAR | SHERWIN WILLIAMS EVERGREEN FOG 

People are craving warmth and coziness since we're at home so much more. As I've gotten older, l have started to appreciate soft greens in my home, even though blue is my favourite colour. Thanks for this series👍♥️🇨🇦

I just painted my entire house this color bc we have so many wood tones…it’s beautiful

My livingroom dining room and kitchen are painted a soft green. The trim is a light cream. Very soothing and serene and surprisingly neutral. Looks wonderful with the mahogany furniture the hardwood floors and the wood cabinet fronts. This is how my mother painted it and I haven't changed it. Everyone remarks how peaceful and calm my home is. It has to be the paint color. Really enjoy the green. Like this color of the year.

Reminds me of Renovation Hardware Silver Sage that was very popular in the '90's

Yum... I did an entry wall in urbane bronze just a couple of weeks ago and then when I saw this new color we both boat flipped. And we are not trendy people but we like nice looking color.

I love the dollar store. I’m also loving this evergreen fog. I was considering it and will try it on several walls. I have a open concept floor plan. All living spaces, kitchen, dining room and “living room” all are open to each other. I also don’t have great lighting in the really high ceiling famil6 room.

I love gray and cream walls.. I bring color in with decor and plants. I grew up with my family painting each room every few years and I prefer one color throughout.

Great video thanks - but still in quandary regarding what to use for ceiling w/Evergreen Fog walls in dining room. Go with video trim recommendation - White Snow 9541? Or with Soji White as paired by Sherwin Williams? Trim boards/floors are a warm maple.

I really think the previous owners watched your video because my downstairs looks like your 3rd picture of the darker/ lighter green combo and I absolutely love it. However the upstairs looks funky because the main upstairs bathroom has a deep turquoise color and one of the other bedrooms a mid tone purple lavender color. Also the trim doesn’t flow as their was three different whites on trims and doors. I think I’m going to have to take a small piece of trim off from behind one of the doors to have it color matched because I have a lot of trim, wainscoting, crown molding. The Snow White you mentioned looks close to what a majority of the trim is…but I know that whites can vary in hues quite a bit. Thank you for this video as You gave me ideas on how to make the rest of the house flow. P.S. I love Sherwin Williams Paints!!!

Sorry if I'm not onboard with the grayness craze. I believe grays belong in the basement and the garage. I only use SW paint and this one is nice, I like it.

Raced down to SW bought a sample of this color to see if it would work as an exterior paint that is a soft sage. Sadly my sample swatch blue gray!

I'm looking at Evergreen fog for my kitchen and dining room and thinking of a deep, rich blue as an accent color on a wall. Suggestions on a dark complimentary blue color?

What do you think of using Accessible Beige for a kitchen/dining/ living room wall color that is open concept, Alabaster for the kitchen cabinets, trim, doors, and using Evergreen Fog for a center island color? Was looking for more of a softer, calming look, but just not if this is the right blend.

Having a hard time deciding on a wall color that goes with evergreen fog (color of kitchen cabinets) and ceiling and crown molding is SW Greek villa (both flat). Thinking of doing Swiss coffee on walls…bad idea?

If I did Tavern taupe for my exterior, exterior trim in minimalist and then Evergreen fog for my front door, would that work?

We are considering using Evergreen fog in master bath. We love the warm wood tones as that is already the theme in our home. Do you have a suggestion for a good accent color besides the Bakelite Gold? I would love to have something in the reddish vein (I love the terra cotta color even if it is dated) but the gold is not really my style. The video was great and very helpful because picking paint and decorating is so overwhelming for me.

Howdy from TEXAS! James, I just discovered you this past weekend.....I was looking for info on my choice, Evergreen Fog. THEN you pissed me off.....what is with confusing me with October Mist!!!??? Also, I am in the process of NEW CONSTRUCTION....testing, testing, testing....but no house yet to test! I have to chose flooring color (right now looking at light travertine). I have a monochromatic beach-style interior, super bored with it! Had it for years! But this new palette is not just boring to me but doesn't come off as revealing a nature scene unless you are very familiar with and understand the tones of paints, then only can you appreciate it. Not only is too safe, but the colors are also a little off putting. If I am looking for nature in my home, this palette missed the mark.

Does Benjamin Moore have an equivalent?
