Have been fishing the Gunfish for years. Always tied on! I was fishing a northern lake with whitecaps (in the rain) and throwing a 115 to an island with a steep drop off and was grabbing big smallies on almost every cast. I couldn't believe they were picking that bait out from all the water action/rain/noise so well. My partner was throwing a crankbait and getting skunked. He would not throw a Gunfish tho. Oh well... :) Love them Gunfish!

Nice video. Thought I was going crazy. Haven’t went fishing in a while(2 years) and I lost my lucky crafts gun fish and called academy to see if they have any gun fish in stock and they said they never even heard of it. Thought gun fish were no longer in existence.

so YOUR the one who took my Cuba Libre pop-x! I went to buy the pop x like an hour after it dropped and they were all sold out... I had to settle for the propdarter80... hahaha. Glad you slayed them though.

Great video! After seeing Ben talk about the different Lucky Craft baits, I might have to get one... or all of them. lol On a different note, I recently got in the mail form Japan, a brand new in the box 2018 abu Garcia big shooter compact in the 7.3:1 gear ratio. I got this reel to fish the DRT tiny klash and other smaller glidebaits. What rod that's around $200 would y'all recommend I get? I've been looking at the F5 custom ghost code that's 7'10" and is rated for 1-4oz, but im willing to look at other options.

The Gunfish 95 is amazing on pressured fish. The Kelly J is good once you break off the front blade. It is the worst prop bait on the planet about fouling around that front blade, but if you break it off makes for a great prop bait.

I struggled a lot with the Kelly J when I threw it on braid. Once I switched to mono the prop issue went away.
