im a believer if you dont get top 4 you trade the pick. less of a risk to trade it that high for proven talent for win now.

If the Grizzlies move up but not high enough to get Sarr, then they have an opportunity to trade back pick up draft capital or use it in a trade for a young vet at SF. They can still get a center back between #8 to #10. meaning Donovan Clingan. with Kennard, Z. Williams and Konchar as trade pieces along with a top four pick will get the Grizzlies what they need to contend.

Ron Holland is the only GLeague player that grabs my attention. He was a winner high school. He is a super athlete and a defensive dawg. I keep wondering if he will be like Anthony Edwards. Anthony Edwards wasn't very good at Georgia but is developing into an elite NBA player. Both are/ were very young going into the draft.

Instead of adding a center, maybe we could get a PF that rebounds at an elite level? Julius Randle? Package the pick, Konchar, Aldama, Zaire and Luke. Keep Jaren at the 5. Give Pippen Jr a regularly contract Mid season

Imagine passing on a prospect just because he spent 6 months playing for a team to earn some money. Leave it to Joe Mullisuck to put out a take this absurd. Spending a few months at the G-league Ignite does not cause talent to be somehow drained from a young man's body. If a young man is talented and goes to the right NBA organization, he can be developed into a very good NBA player and him spendind 6 months at some place called G-league Ignite when he was 18 years old will have ZERO impact on that development 😂😂

Check how a majority of G-League Ignite guys have started in the NBA. They may eventually turn it around, as multiple have, but they almost always start slow and stay that way for a while. I wonder why that is...and I wonder why Ignite is folding. - JM

@johnelliott3439 So what? What's wrong with AAU?? You think Ja Morant and Tee Morant don't know what it takes to develop young talent for the NBA?? Lavar Ball was an AAU coach and he produced TWO top three picks.

@jonathans8760 AAU tends to a talent showcase like beauty pagent. A players needs have honed his craft to be a quality NBA player. The GLeague Ignite players don't seem to get or absorb much developed. There's definitely something to be gained from playing against more experienced players but it's the work between games where players develop. Desmond Bane is a poster child for how to develop into a solid NBA player.

@jonathans8760 Top picks that have under produced. Tee was strongly opposed to Ja playing AAU. He had to be convinced that the SC Celtics coach coached and played his team the right way. Tee is probably not going to push his AAU players like he pushed Ja. Those workouts were extreme, and Ja manned up to the challenge. Those were go-big or go-home workouts.

Who can he defend at the NBA level? Offensively, he is outstanding, but he doesn't seem to be Ja level due to being less athletic. He's unlikely to be top dawg which means he needs to be able to defend a position to get on the court.

Rob may lack some defense at 62 but we need guard depth we still were number 2 at highest defense we need scoring plus a back up to drose and pippen jr being injury prone him and ja also have a connection he has pulled up and watch Rob many times put a center at the 5 and it’s over
