Great chemistry between KP and Zach. Could definitely go for more of this on the regular.

Plus great defense. He was phenomenal tonight. So many plays where if it was RJ he would’ve turned it over or forced a bad shot and OG made great play/read after great play/read. Great move for the Knicks

@@teeflight I mean RJ is a bad player being significantly overpaid and IQ was leaving the end of the season. We had to get something for IQ, letting him walk would be such a waste. We kept all of our 1st round picks. We also got Precious, when we desperately needed a back up big. Also, RJ Brunson and Randle all have a similar style. RJ is the worst of the 3 attacking the basket and the worst of 3 from 3pt range. OG gives us consistent shooting to spread the floor and defensive juggernaut who can gaurd the opposing teams beast player. Spreading the floor allows more space for JB and JR to cook. Where did the Knicks lose?

IQ is good, just really inconsistent. Look at his numbers all season. Great games or bad games, rarely does he have an average game lol I recall at least 5 or 6 terrible shooting games. Maybe more

Quickley is more or less stuck behind Brunson in our lineup, and RJ Barrett was a bad fit / OG is a perfect fit. We know Quickley is the best player in the trade but the fit and the eventual contracts matter@@Dawg476

I'm looking at his career numbers along with minutes, his numbers are definitely good. He has a career 44 percent field goal percentage (2s and 3s), as well as a solid defensive presence and a spark off the bench but also would compliment Barnes very well I believe. Good upside for Toronto

Zach, Achiuwa is pretty good? Stop it. You rwally have not watched Raps play. He is one of the players that Darko gave too many minutes & caused Raps to lose games this season.

RJ had 5 turnovers and a +/- of -7. IQ shot 5-13. I wouldn’t get too excited yet

You're definitely right about RJ, those turnovers were brutal and I wasn't too much of a fan of how he kept muscling his way through 2 or 3 guys to score when there were guys open he could have kicked it out too. Then again, it's just their first game so hopefully with time things improve

It's actually painful how few analysts seem to grasp this. Even though the team has said repeatedly they don't want undergo a full teardown. Biggest thing I have learned from this trade is how many NBA people have no clue about the Raptors.

They're both top 5 picks in their own draft if redrafted. And they're 2/3rds of the way developed. You can not get more than that for a role player.

Which is something the NBA should be investigating. Its super sketchy having an agent who'd dad runs the team you're traded to. That said, i cant conceive how OG's value would somehow be lower after a playoff run with the Knicks vs. with the Raps :D. Someone will throw the max at him. If FVV gets 40, best believe OG gets more

Quick was the best player coming to the raps. As a Knicks fan he use to frustrate me because he dribbled the heck out of the ball and did not make those around him better. He mostly looked for his shot. Hopefully with the raptors he can become more of a playmaker and have a better feel for the game. Because the way he plays is not suited for the playoffs. The good thing is that he has potential and time to grow

Jak also has the best field goal percentage in the league. Lowe literally talking trash and making up BS at this point. Lost respect for this dude as an "analyst" and reporter.

Who, who are the Knicks getting in return for a Randle package? I love him, but he’s the least desired all-star/all-nba player I’ve seen in a while. They aren’t getting a Giannis, Luka, Embiid (I would NOT trade for him), Jokic…Brunson can be THE guy, and this team still has some holes. Build around them and they’ll find some greater success.

@@matteZ2109 No clue...maybe Karl Towns? Donovan Mitchell? Something like that...I'm not sure if they have the draft assets...but I think Brunson is solidly a #2 option. It's basically impossible in the modern NBA to be a small guy #1 option and get through 4 rounds of playoffs once there are full scouting reports and multiple chances for trial & error/adjustments over 7 games. Curry is the only one...but he had 2 of the highest IQ playmakers (defense & offense) in the league in Iggy and Draymond...GS is just a .500 team without Draymond. Curry missed the playoffs both seasons with Iggy on the Heat and never made the playoffs until Draymond showed up in 2012.

Truth is Barrett is likely seen as a negative asset. He's not a good NBA starter. He's one of the worse starters in the NBA.

Barrett is in his fifth year. You usually know what you have in a guy after five seasons.

He's an extremely inconsistent and streaky scorer. If he was everything you described he'd just be kawhi. He's great defensively but he's not a star and that's his downside

​OG is looking for at least $40M and wants to be more than a 3 and D guy. He wants more input on the offense but he's not a great shooter, definitely not great at creating his own shot because his ball handling is not that great.

@@n5brownhe’s not looking for $40M on the Knicks tho, beyond his agent being Leon Rose’s son, he also just said he’s take a pay cut to play for the Knicks. I hope he gets to do some on ball development on the Knicks (especially with that second unit, I honestly think that presents a good opportunity for him), but even just with his available off ball skill set he could average 20-25 ppg on the Knicks. If he hadn’t had fouled out he probably would’ve gotten another few shots up and we’ve seen that when he shoots 13-15 ppg he gets 20 something points. We’ve also seen OG be able to go off on the Raptors and I think that’ll happen more on the Knicks since they’re a team that needs to win and will welcome people stepping up to produce when they need it. The Knicks will love his intelligent cuts too, I could totally see him averaging 20-25 ppg with them

It's definitely getting old. Jalen Williams I think is his name in OKC is producing at 23 years old. People say RJ only 23 like he ain't been in the league for five years.

He played similar minutes on the Raptors anyways, and it’s something I hope the training and medical teams are working with him on so he can stay healthy while consistently playing big minutes

According to Yahoo Sports he's gonna re-sign at a discount in NY. I expect $32m a year. Maybe $34m.

Go watch the game against Anthony Edwards. Denying the ball, collapsing on defense, and contesting shots. Plus he gives you like 48% I think on corner 3s. He had five dunks today. He scores without necessarily having to demand the ball or force shots.

Cause he is a DAWG some one who will shut down those so call superstars and hit clutch shot down the stretch. Knicks fans is gonna love him watch and see

Schroder has not been awful. He has actually been the only serviceable point guard for them this season, in creating for other players and even hitting some shots. He is not however our point guard of the future.
