He surprisly dropped the album without any rollout remember After hours promotion all the short videos performances photoshoots amazing but with Dawn fm he just released with few promotions
This was made for it to be like this. Like a bridge between the other 2 album. First and the last to be intense and a blast. This album acts just as a transition. Nevertheless this album is only for XOs. AFTER LIFE is going to be fire
Dawn fm is just a beautiful album. Every single album Abel makes is incredible. He puts so much effort, detail, and work into it. He gives this amazing story to it that just reminds you why The Weeknd is an amazing artist 💯
I feel like the song sacrifice is more of a confession of not wanting to be tied down cause he likes his time and his independence. Its a battle between wanting love but loving his independence and freedom.
This video kinda showed me a different perspective on life. One main thing is learning to accept yourself all of your traits. also try to improve yourself no matter how hard it is. And don't never stop trying to change for the good. I relate because I had a lust addiction that stems from childhood so I can relate. But over the past few years Ive been learning how to love. And listening to the weeknd all these years helped me with realizing certain things about me. Just wanna say thanks bro for making this I just reacted to this btw as well.
Caught your premiere but I was on a 6 hr car ride back home. I'm checking out the whole things first thing in the morning 🙏🏽 Glad you enjoyed! Thank you
This Album is a Masterpiece it’s a shame that thing album isn’t everywhere on the charts I hope one day the media will listen to this album again and like it For my first listen it felt off but after like my 5th or so listen I was like oh this album is good then the 10th wow this album is amazing etc is album is out of this world people just need to listen to it and it wasn’t just me who felt off at the first listen I’ve been Aton if people who are Weeknd fans say yea I didn’t stick with me the first listen but after 5 time or so I liked it and it amazing
@@daniel-eason exactly, and some of his fans still think he’s too mainstream and should just be like the “old trilogy abel” he does what’s in his heart and what best expresses his emotions.
I literally started to listen to Dawn FM after being hooked to an "Is there somewhere else" clip in a Nathan Zed video and after listening to the entire album in its entirety, i have been playing it non stop, i love this album so much and just to see such a intricate video like this being recommended to me just a day later makes this so much better. Thank you Daniel! Keep it up!
Literally a masterpiece. Its cinematic, its emotional and so damn creative.. people these days wouldn’t know good music if it walked up and slapped dashit out them
Dawn FM came out in the midst of the breakup with the woman I love. She cheated on me and still holds on to me all the same telling me things like a part of hers will always be mine and other mushy shit though she insists she doesn't love me the same way anymore. Dawn FM literally carried my ass through the first couple of weeks of this break. This album is fucking golden. I shill it out to anyone I can. It's honestly so god awfully beautiful and well made
I had the exact opposite experience with this album. I had gone on vacation with a woman I was interested in and the album grew on the both of us that way. To this day I still listen to it. Sorry to hear about your experience.. but at least we can both agree that our shared experiences made the music special to us 🙏🏽
Do not give her the time of day she doesnt respect you and thus i would advise you to move on and cancel all communication, take some time off dating like finding new hobbies or rediscovering old ones, eventually youll find someone who will respect you and wont cheat on you or lose feelings, just be sure of your value, no matter what anyone says, youre a king and must find and conquer your purpose, dont let these hoes get you down man.
This album was legit BEAUTIFUL! The transitions, the theme, the story telling. It was just art ! And I love the way you broke everything down, it made it so understandable the way his love roller coaster has been :(
I feel the “Old Abel” vs “Young Abel” in the album represents the time that he’s been in “Purgatory” as to finding out how to break his cycle. Yes there’s the belief that when you enter Purgatory your soul isn’t at peace because of the sinful things you regret in your past life. Purgatory is a version of Hell where you have to work out the demons that brought you there; in Abel’s case relationships and the fast life. It can take years to overcome the struggles that sent you there in the first place causing you to “Age.” So I do believe “Old Abel” is the version we see as the person that knows the answer to all of his suffering and finally wants peace, while “Young Abel” is struggling to understand what the answer to his peace is. Yes these sinful regrets, they will keep you from heaven but they’re aren’t as evil enough to condemn your soul to Hell. Until he figures that out and breaks the cycle, he will be released from his Hell Loop and finally come to peace and clarity .
only people with an opened sixth eye can truly understand and love the weeknd..I fell in love with all his art I cant say this about any other artist..Hes unique legend masterpiece futuristic and has a beautiful soul..My respects to Abel..❤️❤️
Such a well made video, continue with these as the weeknd continues with his new trilogy era. Dawn FM is just a transition between After hours and After life. Dawn fm is by nature made for being underrated. Just like kissland was between trilogy and BBTM.
KissLand wasn’t between Trilogy and BBTM, Trilogy was just his 3 mixtapes bundled together. Trilogy was more of a summarization of his career thus far than an actual project, plus Kissland was definitely its own thing. Kissland wasn’t a sequel or transition piece to anything.
@@ObviouslyDeleted i know g, there is no relation in between 3 of those. But trilogy was a underground project, kissland was his first mainstream project with underground touch to it and in bbtm he went all out. Just gave a analogy of that 3 with the on going trilogy
I remember watching the Genius of Weeknd video when it had less than 1k views and now seeing that video grow and the channel grow you deserve it all man for your hardwork
The Weeknd is just incredible. Other artists on his popularity level don’t put this much work into their music. A lot of them just force out music for streams, but he puts his all into his work. He has absolutely deserved to be number 1 in the world.
I think the crucial piece that Abel is missing is Commitment. In all his relationships it seems either one or both parties was unwilling to commit. Commitment is the most important aspect of a romantic relationship. Both parties must choose to put their partners needs above their own and this choice must be made continually. Something that Hollywood has long forgotten is that love is not primarily a feeling but rather, a choice. To love someone is to choose over and over again to commit yourself to them until the end of your days. Love is a mutual act of service.
This albums is actually so fucking good. Like it really is his death from all the previous albums. And he knows it, he knows the dark twisted man in the past is about to die and had it all on this album. The numbers this album has done don’t speak for how truly amazing the work of art is.
Bro this is what you gotta add to your videography now. This is a beautiful video and there are seriously million more albums to do these breakdown for. Genuinely waiting for more.
I love the weeknd! When I say this album is absolutely my favorite album by him! Like I thought trilogy was amazing, specifically house of balloons. But then he dropped this album and my goodness!!! I love this album!
Big ups to you for making this quality video. The amount of time that went into making this video must be crazy. After this video when I listened to the album it felt different and gave me a whole new perspective on it. Keep doing what you're doing bro coz you're amazing at it.
I love that the album is a direct continuation of After Hours. Abel hasn’t done that since the mixtapes, but even then, he wasn’t necessarily trying to tell a cohesive narrative like he is now. After Hours is still imo his best album and his best era, but Dawn FM is a beautiful and exciting continuation of the Man in the Red Suit’s night of debauchery bleeding into the Dawn. (And Jim Carey is absolutely excellent on this album, might I add.)
This video is the perfect breakdown. Covering how each song is intertwined with the overarching story and this part of the story. Can’t wait to see the next TGO video!
I have followed the weekend from the beginning and the growth that I have seen with him is the same as mine I just don’t have the money like he does but I am the fílmale version of the weekend on everything I know how this feels and is the reason I am growing as a person from him thank u so much for the break down it’s my current feelings I’m work in progress I know what I did now I need my peace
Before it's released, I'm expecting something like After Hours and some Unreleased stuff. So I'm little disapointed until Out Of Time and Less Than Zero was played, It's like this time he put us to a stress-released state (a connect from last part of AH). Maybe it's time for XO to get out of the toxic relationships, the bad behaviors, the addiction, self-destructive , a crazy wolrd that he used to get involved...
I've been through a lot in my life, Then i heard the Weeknd. It's kinda magic but his songs are same as my life story in many ways!! *Dark, manipulative, unforgivable with total pain* Thanks for the Video, keep it up 👍
I really relate to this story honestly, with After Hours and Dawn FM. Of course, not to the same extreme whatsoever, but I feel like if you just dial it down a lot, that it really is how my life has been as of recently. Through phases of making dumb mistakes, but always having this sort of self awareness, and realizing my issues and wanting to pull away from them, but having the task being easier said than done, and through that, having very similar feeling about all the chaos and many similar points of view. I think this also shows just how much of us are going through the same things, or at least struggles that we try to get away from but just can't seem to ever be able to, and being scared that the loop will never end. It's a beautiful artistic way of putting the potential struggles that we go through in life, and how no matter how it feels, that we are not alone. And that even though it seems like forever, that it will get better. And all that stuff. And no one could put it in any better way than The Weeknd does
Thanks Daniel for this video that brought a genuine tear to my eye. I have seen quite a few videos discussing DAWN FM, and felt like none of them truly dissected it unlike the way you did. I considered doing it myself, but I don’t think I could’ve top this. Amazing video man :)
Bro, you can do whatever you can put your mind to. The most chiché advice is sometimes the best. Make that video and ask yourself "How was Dawn FM special to me?" Once you've got that down the rest will fall into place 🙏🏽
Dont sleep on Dillon Jackson TV! Hes also an OG weeknd fan like Big Quint. Id recommend using some of his clips if you make another weeknd video. I would honestly love to see that.
I’m curious to see what story his next album tells relating to Afterlife, the fact that his albums tell a story that goes beyond the music is the reason why The Weeknd is my current favorite artist
Hell yeah I wish Abel were less occupied with the tour and the shooting of the idol show , so he could put more heart and soul into properly starting this era , this has untapped potential , and goes under the radar of many because of the minimum to zero promotion Abel did for this album
Saddens me that people stopped listening for MEANING now they listen for likes and views. This page warms my heart that there's beings out there here to vibe and learn from the very old tradition that music is....
Daniel Eason you the best bro🔥🔥🔥dont have words to express what you just made me experience with just this video explaining.. You have gained a subscriber 👍
Simply put, the weeknd never dies. Just like a vampire he will always live. He is junior Jesus, despite the heartache and pain, he will always be resurrected.
