"Shame cannot survive being talked about". ~Brene Brown I went to a church on Easter and the pastor was telling a story about how he'd done wrong as the example of feeling guilt, and the example he used was accidentally taking a pen from the church. And then he went on to say that he feels "guilt" all the time. hmmm...even though Jesus died for all of them? Anyways, I admire the healing capacity you have by being really true, admitting, and openly acknowledging you did behaviors unaligned with your values, and that those behaviors came from a wounded place, and most importantly, you can do better.
