Yea that is what made FSU look bad - in my opinion it wasn't the lack of leadership or whatever - it was that Boston College running back and quarterback just gashing the defense for 8 to 15 yards anytime that they wanted to - ((that really looked bad)) - Roll Tide 🏈🏆🐘
Idk. We’ve been running a basic rush offense without success. We need to use some motion, misdirection stuff like GT and BC used so effectively against us. I don’t get it, Mike did it like crazy before. He keep trying to force power, and it just ain’t there.
What is complicated about what they are rumning? I coached the oline and can attest to none of this stuff being anything high school teams run. Heck, youth teams run all of this stuff. The fundamentals are the problem. Washington has been terrible which is surprising.

A players lack of development is usually on them. I bet he hits the portal as soon as he can. Early and Otto have surpassed him. People are going to come after Otto in the portal.
Other teams have to fall on freshman tackles. He'll notre dame did it and was able to make do. But apparently our freshman, sophomore, and juniors, some of them highly rated are more of a risk than playing Scott who is majorly injured? That's on Atkins for not being able to get anyone even up to the standard of a G5 team
He is a guard. You were lied tp for a few years with people saying he was a tackle. He doesn't have the length. Armela has been passed up by guys like Early and Otto. It looks like he may be a bust.
I get it what your saying about the line but as a former center/ guard the veterans are super veterans and should be able to run that line in Atkins absence which brings me to the question is there a true leader on that line.

Offensive line coaching is a problem. When you have players on campus for 3 years. And you have to play a hurt player. Come on. Develop some depth. There’s always offensive line injuries to blame. We can’t keep making excuses
Even if the offense makes a miraculous recovery and start playing elite, we won't win many games with the lousy defense we're playing! How many stops did the defense get during the past two games, 3 or 4 at most!!!

It's not. They are running the same stuff everybody else runs. Slide, half slide/combo bob. It's all standard pass protection schemes for drop back passing.

Look, you can't play complementary football with DJU at QB. He puts the defense in bad positions due to his inability to move the ball. If we start Brock, go two a TE set with West and Thomas starting, replace Williams at RB with Davis and Holmes, do more RPO to take advantage of Glenn mobility and play single high safety blitz defense to stop the run (which will result in more possessions) THEN we can win the games we are supposed to win. The big issue is DJ and i still don't get why people defend him. He is fundamentally flawed. Absolutely no field vision, he stares down one receiver rather than seeing the field. Horrible passer, he throws a lame duck that wobbles like a punt, and consistently over/underthrows, missing wide open receivers. And finally no pocket presence, when he's under pressure he just runs around like a lost puppy or takes unnecessary sacks. Unfortunately i think because he's Norvell's golden boy and they have so much NIL money wrapped up in him, they won't bench him.
Play Bowden and Jimbo ball. 1. Bowden had Jimmy Jordan and Wally Woodham QB combo. Combo QBs if egos will stand it. 2. Starting a one handed O lineman is finding an excuse to lose. Jimbos philosophy was “find an excuse to win”! Our best 11 on O and D should be better than GT, BC and Memphis. 4 and 5 star players should rarely if ever lose to 2 and 3 star players unless the lower rated players are coached up more than the 4 and 5 stars and the team with better players is outschemed, out coached and plays soft with no buy in and less heart and hunger!

Let’s face it DJU has SUCKED against not even the best teams we will play this year ( Miami/ND) and we all know it now and for Norvell to keep putting him out there is just making him look bad because he’s the head coach! I’m already looking past this year and hoping that we can get a QB in the next recruiting cycle and end up with that position at least being somewhat better moving forward! To me, FSU was and is not ready to play ball this year, from top to bottom. Dang the BC game was the epitome of a disaster showcasing how pitifull the program is, the tv cameras revealed justvhow bad things are when the first view was a picture of the stadium Bobby built looking like a Florida gators kids erector set in shambles and you wonder how this affects those players and fans? We got a senior qb that has no clue what hes doing, a bunch of bums on defense that don't even try. And our recruiting is atrocious, and about to get even worse. This team is screwed for the foreseeable future.

Norvell showed against BC that he is going down with the NIL ship,so unless re replaces DJU,it's all moot;and he already missed that chance. Team is not good enough for a total turn around. Norvell needs a better staff around him,and overnight can't wait another season.
