In indian culture, we generally dont inform homicide or suicide at the very first. We dont call up and say hey your daughter has suicide or has been murdered. Its always informed that the dead is very sick and family has to come fast. Didn't it happen when you guys were some place else and got to know your father or mother died and the relatives call and say they are very sick please come fast. I am just saying this can be a possibility.

Bro medical staff cannot differentiate between a homicide and suicide? What you are saying is different. Any update regarding the patient is made immediately. There is a difference between relatives and hospital staff. And relatives do that for children. So, what you are saying is something which happens inside families, not in hospitals. If, God forbid, one of your parents or relatives die in a hospital, you expect the hospital authorities to tell you the truth, or tell you misleading lies ? Please think before typing. This is a sensitive matter.

The person calling the parents doesn't sound like a doctor. She sounds very unprofessional. She says that the lady [victim] has fallen ill and only the doctor will be able to tell what has happened to her in the first call. The caller says she [victim] either committed suicide or was killed in the second call.

@@writedeepblue she is arrested because she was instructed by higher authorities to say this and in a medical college a doctor can immediately say it's a suicide or murder by looking at the dead body and there are lot of evidences which suggest there was cover up

It is clear that Sandip Ghosh couldn't face the parents of one subordinate under his control /supervision and this is the main reason he didn't meet them when they came to the RG KAR Hospital. In fact he has been involved in the cover-up or was still scheming about the next step in saving his skin, bastard that he is....... THE POLICE OF WEST BENGAL ALSO NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED BY THE CBI TO ESTABLISH ALL THEIR ROLES IN THIS COVER-UP AND ALSO BC THE FIR WAS FILED LATE AND THEIR AGREEMENT THAT THE CASE WAS A SUICIDE.

Has the authenticity of the telecon been verified? The father seems to be very calm when he is informed of the daughter's plight and the female voice does not sound like a doctor. Very doubtful.

Not everyone in real life reacts dramatically like they do in the movies . They will take time to process. They might be in severe shock too. And they are old ppl, so they might not fully understand immediately in tension.

@@harshaseneviratne4250 The female voice isnt of a doctor....its the assistant supervisor who informed. Also the dad isnt worried much because they had initially said she is a bit unwell. His voice got shaky later when they informed that she had commited suicide which is cut in this news clip. From other interviews of the parents, it is indeed his voice.

The lady informing the parents on the call doesn’t sound like a professional from her accent of bengali language. She dsnt even sound like she knows enough or is sure of what to inform as usually professionals are trained on. It sounds like her only agenda was to ask the parents to reach hospital asap. She says very clearly that ‘she’s passed away PROBABLY a suicide, just come asap, doctors can explain more’. The word HOYTO is important here because it means PROBABLY. Non-bengali speaking reporters should work hard on understanding the local accent. It does not necessarily indicate a cover up though. But yes, the parents had to wait 3 hrs that’s very very wrong and negligence at peak

No the phone call to her parents was made around 10 am and she died between 4-5 am . So no possibility of her being alive.

But the question is who recorded the phone call that time? Its sure hospital authority wouldn't, because they didn't want to keep any proofs, not even her parents because they were in a hurry to reach their daughter and they dont seem to be too much tech savvy as they are very simple people. And even if her parents recorded it, then why the audio has surfaced so late?
