I don't even think instagram should be even considered social media anymore, its more of a store than anything else. Everybody is trying to sell something. I don't see any real photographers recommended on my feed, since 2021.

I hate Instagram. It is one of the poorest performing platform of the big 7. And why stands out in this brief snippet of their discussion in two places. 1. He knows there is a problem with the reporting but it’s amazing how much influence he has. Seriously? Make it happen, that is YOUR problem. You are the leader. 2. They recognize that there are issues and expect people to learn to work with their platform or you just don’t perform well. TikTok however looks at it differently and says hey people don’t get this, let’s make it so they don’t have to. When Instagrams leader gets this they will improve. But they are a mess.

It's great to see a focus on meaningful metrics rather than just vanity numbers like likes and follows.
